This woman bothers me so much. I studied the Victorian era extensively in school and she’s “living” in one very tiny aspect of it. Of COURSE she would choose to be a wealthy woman instead of dealing with the horrific poverty of the time. It’s myopic yet completely unsurprising.

I figured out the birds and the bees by watching Romancing the Stone. I had it on VHS, but I didn’t think they were doing more than actually sleeping together naked in bed until like the 10th watching. Then I was all, “Ohhhhh. I get it. So THAT’S where babies come from.”

I love that terrible goddam movie. Sam Elliott, Kelly Lynch rooftop doggie style and Jeff Healey were truly awesome. The acting and dialogue were so clichéd and sophomoric I just felt proud of them all for trying. Also, I was 19 and pretty high that summer.

I agree, I mean I’m all for female led remakes, but Rousey doesn’t have much of an acting ability, although neither did anyone in Road House besides Swayze and Sam Eliot.
