Is there any reasonable reason for a young person to not have a high risk tolerance? I’m 24 and I have my retirement money in aggressive funds because I’m 40 years away from retirement. It’s a network effect. PayPal is mostly only used by people who were already adults when PayPal first came out. Venmo is used by younger people. If you’re 25, none of your friends use PayPal.
