Former Michigander here. You’re right.
“Don’t threaten me with a good time” is something my wife still says today. This show is zeitgeist, if only for that phrase.
I unfortunately know why:
I’m in a similar boat.
Yeah maybe it’s more regional and hasn’t swarmed the country like you assumed.
It’s the year of pivoting around hazards and inconveniences at every turn. What are your thoughts on Blue Apron overall? My complaints are minimal and generally corrected in the kitchen.
This was a fun read the pictures were brilliantly placed. Old school blog post style and I loved it. Thank you.
We also got the alert from BA. Wife swapped them out of the recipe and used onions she had bought at the store. Regardless, the preparations for the recipe called for them to be cooked/carmelized.
For all the questions we have about why the photo was taken at night, or at least to look like it’s night:

Not a bad call Douglas. Plop’em right off the coast of Green Bay.
I think they expected people to be civilized and courteous because the lives of two American Astronauts were hanging in the balance of a safe and efficient recovery taking place. Pensacola is the hub of Naval Aviation, the city is steeped in glorified history of taking to the sky in defense of the stars and stripes,…
It was super important that they thought Gary Sinise had the flu for that mission. Best to have that big brain on the ground and rely on Kevin Bacon to cycle the tanks.
Former Michigander here. Fun thing to do in Florida is to tell someone you’re from Michigan and see how many steps it takes to realize you’re related.
They got both rockets and people into space. I’m confident that focused resourcefulness can solve this problem. My main stance is that Space-X’s model for retrieving their property from the ocean needs to account for yokels with a tank of gas in their boats and a Yeti full of crispy’s from jeopardizing safety.
