I completely agree. It was a fun intro and a good intro to the nascar season. It went much better than i expected for such a small track with big cars.

I really enjoyed the Clash. Qualifying saturday night was really interesting seeing how each of the drivers handled cold tires and a cold track. The Heat races were a blast. They was a lot of fights for positions, cars setup for long runs and short runs, and it was some great short track racing. The 2nd LCQ…

With the heat races and lcq it reminded me of going to a dirt track in rural PA.  The vibe just seemed to work.

And here I was thinking that Ice Cube would be a perfect fit for the NASCAR demographic. I guess every single country, country-rock and anodyne FM-rock act in the country was already booked.

I believe we did, as much as I hate it.
