Josh Lyman told President Bartlett just last night on “The West Wing” that the President can be sworn in on the latest swimsuit issue from Sports Illustrated, if he wanted to.

Seems like a fitting playbook to me, and on the short term this is a problem that’s worth having. Four more years of 45? or a democratic administration with cabinetry appointed by a democrat administration. The benefit for education, secretary of state, secretary of defense, EPA, CDC, USDA, FDA will be tons better

You’re right. There’s no sense in putting a shine on bad people.

The Roof Protocol isn’t authorized for cop killers, apparently.

I see what you mean.  No Doubt had TEETH. Of that whole Orange County scene that erupted in the 90's (looking at Offspring, Sublime, Reel Big Fish, Social distortion) I think No Doubt was atop them all. Seeing them live was a good freaking time. Killer musicians, particularly Tony who was a beast.

I appreciate you two having this discussion, and I get both sides.

To me it feels like Ashley wanted a completely different movie with emphasis and accents on issues she thought were pertinent. I get that. And I also get the timestamp on when this review was posted coinciding with immense nation-wide unrest.

I like the analogy you made with the Berlin wall. It really is similar. Being a Northerner then living most of my adult life in CA, I was mostly sheltered from the powerful hold the ghosts of the confederacy held on the south.

You just distilled the entire article into 14 words.  Good Stuff.

I came here to say the same. Up in the Air was genius and she was great in it. That’s how I came to know who she is.

These are great questions and I would like to know more. My knee jerk response is that USADA’s tolerances for these performance enhancing drugs are incredibly low and are able to detect eeensy-teensy amounts.

Good point.  If this dude is taking these drugs purely for aesthetics I hope he’s looking toward treatment for his dismorphia.

I’ll never tire of Kavanaugh bro-jokes.

There are many pockets of this country where pints of Ben n Jerry’s are getting blasted off of stumps and burn pits are filling up with NASCAR gear.

Totally, I know Jay had to do some digging to find ol’ Ray, but I don’t see a need to let this failure have his voice heard is giving him more publicity than he ever earned on his own.

Not sure where everyone is at with Michael Rappaport, but he was on “The 500" podcast talking this album. Either way, it’s almost two hours of talk about D’Angelo and Voodoo.

R.E. Lee first because he’s the most iconic, but JEB Stuart, Stonewall Jackson, Jefferson Davis, and that Confederate Oceanographer all need to go as well.  I’ve lumbered down the entirety of Monument Avenue before to look at those things, it’s bizarre.

I bet ALL the truck companies are angling to have their brand represented as the “Truck that Dismantled the Last Gasps of the Confederacy”

I definitely know the area, I lived in a house on Tropico from Bancroft. Address back then was “Unincorporated Spring Valley” but it was basically La Mesa. Was there for 6 years before I moved up to Ventura County.

Your neighborhood sounds very cool.  Were I betting man I’d say North Park?
