When it all comes down to the bare bones... Ellen is funny. No matter where it came from or what it was borne out of... She has always made me laugh. She has a gravitational pull that placed her in an influential spot, but what put her there in the first place is that she can make people smile.

I feel the same way. I loved the movie, it did everything Star Wars does. Fast paced, hard to follow, lots of lights and earnestness with occasional one liners... in space. I saw it in IMAX and the sound design blew my doors off.
