I’m close enough to LA (Ventura County) that I get to enjoy it when it’s on my terms but I’m not immersed in it. Have friends in Hawthorne and it’s great to have them visit to see them take big deep breaths and relax.  LA is a lot.  No doubt.

San Diego frustrated me greatly when I lived there.  It’s my fault, though.  I couldn’t keep up with the pace.
