Haha. Likewise. I used to drive back and forth from Chicago to the thumb of Michigan with a Festiva.  With a trio of buddies, two of whom were over 260 lbs and one was 6'5.  All 4 of us + our weekend luggage/laundry fit in that little thing, no room for anything else.  The Festiva Limo would have been much more comfy.

Indeed.  I’m with you.  I’m like that with football and hockey (goalie) helmets as well.  My wife makes fun of me because I “marvel at outfits” but fuck it.  Cool is cool and when helmet designs get changed up, it’s at least interesting/entertaining.

I’m one of those dudes. I asked to be tested, turned out I was below the normal range, and viola. I do the shots because it’s $9.00 per month compared to what would have been about $165.00 for the rub on stuff.

+1 Briscoe years...  That’s the goods.

This car would have been the hotness for, I don’t know, 2 million surfers in Southern California, especially with that turbo.

I was vehemently against Maroon 5 until I saw them live. While not entirely in my wheelhouse, they kicked ass, and Levine on top of being a legit singer played guitar for much of the show and got behind the drum kit too.

I don’t like using the phrase “dunked on” but for this post it fits.  Nice one.  I didn’t realize the z51 had that kind of fuel economy.

Nah, I like Matt. His tribute to Carl Ruiz last week, his affinity for watches and cool shit... Seems like he enjoys having one foot in what’s new and hot as well as what’s vintage and should be upheld and revered.

+1 Vegemite Sandwich

Remember when it was “just” Manafort and Stone that were going to eat a warm cow-turd?  All the grown ups are in this mess...  Makes me wonder what Mattis knew.

I got to watch him pitch live a few times and each start I’d think:

I always wondered what Foster would have been if he’d been somewhere else too.

I’ll never forget him at Michigan. He was the Simpsons Monorail salesman in real life.  That these guys get paid this much for basically playing a board game with human beings is alarming.

I grew up in Michigan, and Bob Seger is dang near a living deity, so thus Shakedown was an anthem and Beverly Hills Cop was gospel because Eddie had on a Lions jacket. Glen Frey was a Michigan guy too so yeah, the connective tissue is thick with this fanchise.

The Lions in that “aww lookit this adorable scrappy team” category that will make some noise and stay in games but ulimately yes, they will find ways to “return to their normal state of being the Lions.”  Good point.

I agree, Browns need a healthy Chubb. /customary pun

You have a good point, but when he’s on the field the passing game opens up for Marmalarde more than when Eckler is in the backfield. Not sure why because Eckler is a nice back and made the difference against Indy in game 1 (as you well know), but LB’s and Safeties can’t rule Gordon out on any given play.  As nice as

I’ve given your point a lot of thought and it turns out I’m biased because I really think Gordon is elite and deserved to get paid.

You sonofa......

Yaaaaassss dude yaaas.
