Two things, find someone who accepts your love of riding. They don’t have to love it, but at least accept it. My wife would probably prefer if I didn’t ride, but she knows that’s what I love and supports it.

Somewhere in the middle although I find it best to at least stick with name brand especially with “disposable” type items such as drill bits, taps, blades etc. Most of my hand tool collection started with whatever was laying around in the buckets of leftovers from dad/grandpa/uncle, Goodwrench, Craftsmen, no names…
I know that offroad toys have never been better, but the 80's was peak dirtbike/off road. CR500, ATC250R, ATC350X, ATC200X, Kawi Tecate 250, Yamaha Tri Z, Quadzilla, Yamaha Banshee, YZ490, XR600R..... the list just goes on.
I’ve already got 8 wheels and the current lineup is: 1987 Honda XL600R, 1985 Honda XR600R, 1983 Yamaha RX50, 2006 Yamaha XV1700 Warrior. It’s a pretty solid lineup and covers all the bases.
Go big or go home I guess.
I will gladly die on this hill.

Love it and I hope it wipes the floor with the Harleys. I hope this series sticks around and they let some of the other Japanese Vtwin baggers in. Would love to see the Yamaha Eluders and Kawi Vaqueros mixing it up out there too.
It’s possible that they used a heavily revised chassis, I don’t know the exact details, but with changes that big I’d consider it new. Plus, how much does a pickup frame really need to change?
Even the jellybean F-150 was built on the same frame as the ‘79 model because neither Ford nor GM had any money in the ‘90s.
In that position the top of the tailgate sits level (or close to it) with the top of the wheel wells, which means that you can carry full 4x8 sheets level in the bed. It’s actually a really clever solution for the Gladiators tiny bed.
I like it! I think they styling is a little better on the Raptor, but this doesn’t look bad. Also, 702 HP, although with an $18,000 price difference I don’t think we’ll have to worry about Raptor sales. Can’t wait to see the tests and comparisons, and Ford’s rebuttal.
I went a couple of years ago just to see what it was about, I had the same mindset as you but honestly had a much better time than I thought. During the day we went and rode through the hills which was a lot of fun in itself and it was a lot of fun seeing all of the other bikes on the road, stopping and talking to a…
So you got all the grapes! I snack on these at work occasionally and it’s a rare day if there’s more than four grapes in a package, and these are the big individual sale bags. Everything else is plentiful. Total bullshit.
I love pickups, and have since I was a little kid. There’s just a certain unpretentious charm (or at least there used to be) to them that resonates with me. I’ve only ever had a small handful of dream cars over the years, but I could fill multiple warehouses full of both special trim and mundane pickups that I dream…
The ugliest truck is the 73-87 GM pickups. The generations before and after it are the best-looking GM full-size trucks
The first two years of jellybeans are pretty bad, but the face lift in ‘99 helped a lot, and later years got even better with nicer paint options and wheels/tires that were actually sized appropriately. By the time the model was done I’d put it in my top 5 list of best looking pickups. Granted, I’m not in the majority…
I’m happy that she got the record, but still incredibly sad that she’s gone.
It’s probably more common that you’d think. Personally we tow the boat to various lakes and rivers a half dozen to a dozen times a summer, places that are anywhere from 60 to 700 miles away. ATV’s probably the same, usually with a group a four people plus all they’re stuff. Then there’s the random stuff, hauling a…
