That sounds like less fun, easy sure, and still fun, but not as much fun. There’s an overwhelming sense of accomplishment when you bring your own piece of junk back from the dead, then take it on an epic trip to a place you’ve always wanted to take it, and conquer whatever trails/tracks/etc. are there. Even if it

I think I still have an extra clock from my 924, now I want to mount it in my F-150, or on the motorcycle.

Agreed.

I value a truck for the same reasons, but don’t haul things longer than about 8' on a regular basis so a 6.5' bed is perfectly acceptable to me. It’s usually only me in the cab but it’s often enough that there’s at least two of us so and extended cab provides a ton of extra benefit. A secure dry place to put helmets,

Those had to have been mid-sized or compact trucks which have been that way since forever. No way a full size had less than 4' between the wells. If it was tell me what it is so I make sure I never buy one.

Gotsta get those clicks though.

This is incredibly wrong, an extended cab gives you a lot of great usable space, and with a 6.5' bed they look great (extended cab 8' bed trucks look terrible though, I’ll give you that).

This is the correct answer. Fitting them with the tailgate down, but still fully on the tailgate is also acceptable to me. So essentially 6.5' bed or longer, enough of this 5' bed bullshit.

I get 13, with a heavy load it’ll drop to 11. It is a 19 year old truck though, the new trucks actually do pretty well.

I’ll give you my reasoning. I use my truck fairly often for towing a boat, or towing a friends car trailer around, or various other trailers, and between my dad and I we do a lot of home projects and use a fair amount of wood. All of this could be done with an SUV yes, but where and SUV wouldn’t really work all that

In high school (about 2008) I found one of my dream trucks, an early to mid 60's F-100, 302, auto (not ideal but whatever), black, low miles and super clean. The previous owner was an older gentleman who only used the truck a couple of times a year to haul a few loads of twigs and such to the dump. It only had like

A more modern version of the Super Bee was adapted to select Dodge trucks in the mid 2000's, the Rumble Bee.

Perfect! Been waiting for an I6. I’ve got a Flathead Ford I6 I might consider offering up, but I think it might better serve as a table vs. a rebuildable engine. (Plus I doubt I’d be worth sending anyone to SD just for a rusty old engine block).

Your engine rebuild time-lapses are some of my favorite things to watch. I know they’re not super quick to make but...

I get that they need to make money, and that they’re not really making what they need on YouTube so I don’t blame them for that. What makes it difficult is that it’s now another thing I potentially have to pay for (haven’t decided yet). It seems like everyone is slowly going to their own platform which is just another

It’s a ‘99 F-150 XLT so it does not.

Whatever little computer module controls my wipers has a mind of it’s own. The little indicators for the intermittent wiping intervals are more like suggestions, that the module then decides to ignore. On the lowest setting (longest delay) the delay can range anywhere between 30-ish seconds, or basically none. On the

Smaller doesn’t always mean less safe. (But in this case it probably does). Smaller helmets are generally lighter and cut through the wind a little better, leading to less fatigue. Plus they don’t look ridiculous like some vastly over sized helmets do. I generally prefer a smaller helmet if I can find one, but never

I don’t think Harley cares about what their current clientele thinks about this bike, they’ll still be making large displacement big torque cruisers to keep those people happy. What they hope for the Livewire is for it to bring in new customers, those who didn’t have a lot of interest in Harley before, but might be

I’d like to see if they increase the range a little, if they can I’ll be seriously interested. I think Harley has a good product here so hopefully they price it right, and the dealers are fully on board. If they can do those two things I think they’ll do OK.
