Since they claimed that this car will be lighter than the Hellcat I’m predicting that the Demon will be a stripped down 707 hp failed attempt to compete with the Z/28 / GT350R.

The fire truck is a ‘48-’50 Ford, in ‘51 the front end changed to the shark tooth grille, and the cab had a wider rear window. It’s also based on an F4, F5, or F6, very likely the F6 due to the heavy duty requirements of hauling all that water. This also means it likely has the 254 CI flathead I6, which produced 115…
Not that anyone can actually be bother to educate themselves on how beef is produced here, but we actually do it the same way. Antibiotics are used to prevent and treat diseases and all treated animals are required to undergo a weaning period to ensure that residual antibiotics are out of their system or are at a safe…
When it’s maintenance that I plan ahead of time, like I’m going to change my brakes next weekend, I’ll usually order online, but when I drop a coil on the way home from work I need a new one, and I need it now, which is why brick and mortar stores will always be my preferred option. Other benefits are being able to…
All true, it varies a lot from case to case, my point being that even though it may be cheaper in the very long term, it may not always work for everyone, and making cars significantly more expensive, while providing less and less substantial gains will eventually reach a point where the costs outweigh the benefits.…
That’s true, but point of purchase is more relevant to most people than long term costs usually. While a hybrid may save me money in the long run, I may not be able to afford a hybrid right now, you know what I can afford though? A regular car. Yeah it might cost me more in the long run, but over the life of the…
That’s not entirely true either, if EVERY car built is a non hybrid, it will still be cheaper than if every car was a hybrid because the extra hardware required for a hybrid costs money. With economies of scale it’s easier to spread that cost out and make it cheaper, but it’s still more expensive than the alternative.
While it is wasted energy, the amount of energy wasted is nearly negligible in the grand scheme of things, and designing a non-wasted spark system for such a cheap an basic engine wouldn’t be worth the cost.
It’s wasted spark, I know that my motorcycle does this, as do many others, so it’s actually pretty common. What is happening is, there is a pickup, usually on the flywheel of the engine, that gives a “signal” to the spark plug to fire. On a four stroke engine, the crankshaft, which is directly connected to the…
I’m hardly interested in the Bronco any more, other than to see how much of a disappointment people think it is. I was really excited when they announced it, but the more I read, the less excited I get. I’m sure it will still be a pretty capable vehicle, but that isn’t what I want. I want an F-150 based, blocky, two…
Considering in 2014 a real, Hemi convertible sold for $3.5 million, I’d say $180,000 is pretty reasonable for a clone. Still a ton of money, but when the real deal is so rare and so expensive, it’s going to drive up the price of clones.
My Ford doesn’t have that problem as long as it can turn over it’s usual 5 times (that’s what it sounds like at least), it will usually fire, and there have certainly been a few times where I didn’t think it’d make it.
Sounds like he’s trying to come off as a tough guy, but instead he came off like an ass. Personally I think 250cc bikes are too small for most things anyway, I’d recommend something in the 400-500 range, (which don’t have to be sport bikes or cruisers), but if a 250 is what gets you into riding I say go for it! A…
Yet they still own a motorcycle company and have specifically said that they intend to strengthen that company, its product line, and it’s place in the market. That company is Indain just in case you weren’t aware, the company with huge name recognition, a century old rivalry with the largest motorcycle manufacturer…
And within the first year Indian motorcycles came out they matched Victory’s sales, doubling total motorcycle sales for Polaris. I don’t think it was a dump them because they weren’t doing as good as we expected situation, but more like we probably shouldn’t have two brands competing against each other, and between…
I don’t think it’s hate for the Everest, the Everest is a fine looking SUV, even though it looks like every other dull boring bland SUV on the road. I think it’s more that people have a certain image of what a Bronco should be, and rightfully so IMO, and the Everest does not fit that image at all, regardless of how…
This is really cool, even as a man most bike clubs, gatherings, and forums are too much of a pissing contest for me so it’s great to see that they have a group to get away from all that crap. Hopefully they continue to grow all over the country because motorcycling in general needs more groups like this.
That’s a little different, %100 of Harley’s bikes were fully compliant straight from the factory, they just happened to also carry, sell, and install a tuner, like any other aftermarket tuner, that made them non compliant. It’s the fact that it was HD owned, and dealer installed that got them in trouble.
Being Kinjad, but that purple on the Traverse, I really like it, enough to where I would consider buying my wife a Traverse just to have that color.
