So. Much. Want. I love these, they’re my second favorite pickup ever.

I’m not! I love my gas powered bikes, but wouldn’t scoff at an electric bike at all. In fact, I would love to pick one up for commuting in the summer, but they’re still too expensive, and I would still need a gas bike for longer trips. (not that having more than one bike is a problem, I’ve already got three)

Every time I think I’m over this car it pops up and I fall in love all over again.

12 more sport oriented variants in the near future you say? Is one of them a single cab short box 2wd F-150 that’s properly lowered with proper suspension for a pickup, with large brakes, and a 5.0L Flat plane V8, or even a twin turbo 3.5L V6 ecoboost? Can you call it the Lightning? Huh? Is it is it is it?

This is a 3rd gen 250R

There was a federal mandate in the United States that banned the new sale of 3 wheeled atvs, starting in 1988, and lasted ten years. Sales of 3 wheeled atvs continued in other countries like Canada and Australia for a few more years, but then the manufactures stopped.

Quite a bit. A three wheeler and a four wheeler really aren’t any different in that respect, it’s just that three wheelers normally didn’t have anything other than the foot peg, so when you put your foot down there was nothing to keep it from being pulled under. Most four wheelers that I’ve seen have some sort of

Mine’s actually a 200x, but 250Rs definitely make people feel funny in the pants.

I want a TriZ 250 in the worst of ways, unfortunately my garage/wife situation wont allow it somehow, but someday... someday...

I’m 25 and actually didn’t get one until about two years ago, I’d ridden one or two in my late teens/early twenties, but didn’t really get into them until a few years ago. Who knows, maybe being a bit older helped me to understand that they’re not toys and need to be ridden differently.

Those are actually factory 250r tires, and are a bit more of a performance tire than a mud/terrain tire. They grip really well in a straight line, but let the rear end kick out easily. I really like them.

The 200x is the perfect middle ground when it comes to trikes.

That’s a chance you take with any machine though, especially when there are things you can’t see. Being wider actually helps because it upsets the machine less when you do hit something unexpected. Even though mine is 9” wider than stock, it’s still no more than 2” wider than most modern quads. Stock for stock I agree

Yep, 200x, it’s an 83 or 84, but has a ton of non original parts. Tank is a later model, seat is custom, fenders are lo pro fiberglass racing fenders, 250r widened axle, 250r wheels, extended swingarm, 185s engine... It’s kinda a Frankenstein of parts but it runs like a champ and handles really well.

Thanks! It’s a great trike and the couple of upgrades it has are amazing. Hope the 86 works out for you, the second gen is kinda a rare bird.

Right at the end of the video, when he’s doing donuts in the shop and then runs into the door. Been there done that, right into my buddies truck. Oops. Word of advice, for anything with wheels, when doing donuts, don’t do them anywhere where you might run into something you don’t want to run in to, because you

There are still a lot of people converting MX bikes into 3 wheelers, several of them are even street legal.

They can, but it’s tricky, they tend to want to turn one way or the other, but it’s possible. If you aren’t concerned with going in a perfectly straight line they are worlds easier to hold on two wheels than a quad.

Yeah, you learn pretty quick once your leg gets sucked under the wheel and you get ripped off. Ask me how I know...
