So glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about Sanderson. The hack part, that is. The Mormon thing is just factual.

Not that it would make any more sense, but this is not true. The question specifically says “Your Gender”
Using the Avenue Q definition, it’s absolutely schadenfreude. And that’s good enough for me!
There are actual legalities involving gender and job applications. I suspect that is not the case for Smash Bros. surveys, but IANAL.
Why in the world do they need your gender?
I'd be a little worried that this will do nothing to address the problem, and just make the people addicted to unhealthy snacks poorer.
It's not really about taxpayer money. It's that this is terrorizing our whole fucking community and putting people at risk of death by police.
Shale is literally the best thing in Dragon Age.
Kojima might be wacky enough to pull something like this. I don't believe a giant Japanese company like Konami does.
I had to look it up, and now I'm just sad.
Honestly, I think I'm going to pass until a sale. Everything I've read makes it sound like more Hinterlands style fetch quests, and very little character stuff.
Is the quest available post-game? Or will I need to load up an older save?
Why not both?
idk. One of the nice things about Pokemon is that you can't "fail" per se. If you die, you just head back to the nearest clinic. In most RPGs, if you die, you've just lost all your unsaved progress — which in a community game like this, is quite possibly all of it. So some of those games might be fun in a "let's see…
No, I'm not just realizing it. It's been a problem for a while. To be honest, it's a hard thing to get right. There are a ton of people in progressive communities who like to lash out at anyone who doesn't completely live up to their own standards or makes a mistake. There are likewise a ton of people who take ANY…
I totally agree, people will often take any criticism as equivalent to "OMG THIS IS THE WORST AND EVIL." A lot of the race thinkpieces have been fine. On the other side, I thought Ijeoma Oluo, who I'm a fan of, wrote an article that I thought was kind of over-the-top. I agreed with a lot of the examples she picked,…
It's seriously a problem with progressives. Is the show perfect, especially in regards to race? No, it's not. Is it beyond criticism? Nope! I think pointing out problematic issues is fine. Is it deserving of some of the REALLY intense articles asserting that it's pure racist garbage? Absolutely not.
"His abuses"
He's the guy pulling in $120,000 a year through Patreon. He's that guy.
He only called them that after they hit him with a damaging, spurious legal claim.
