Young kids can't always differentiate between parents being angry with them,

I think it depends. reubendevrle's quote only makes sense if you're pretty sure the kid did something and just want them to fess up to it.

Why can you not offer immunity? It's not like you're forced to punish them, and you as an adult should be able to control your anger. You're not promising that there's going to be absolutely no consequences for their behavior — you're simply promising that you're not going to flip out and scream at them. Which,

Marvel: Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers)
DC: Wonder Woman

Superior/Inferior is the wrong way to think about it. The better way to think about it is different. The sort of game I want to play on my phone is not the same game I want to play on my AAA-console. A lot of mobile deriders don't seem to understand that.

Ha, that's probably why. I was on PS3.

That's awesome news!

I never had problems transferring in Mass Effect, but Dragon Age 2 gave me no end of headaches. My multitude of saves weren't sorted, information was wrong, etc. But I'm glad you had a better experience.

I loved DA:2 (aside from the shoddy level design), and I'm stoked about this. I know this is probably not a popular opinion, but I hope they do away with transfering data from DA2 and start fresh. The transfer process from DA:O was already a mess. I can't imagine how they're going to do a DA:O and DA2->DA3 without it

Seriously, from the first line. Just terrible.

If by "it," you mean the pun, then yes. "12 Years a Slave Escapes" is barely a pun at all, while "Escap[ing] gravity" is an actual phrase.

Um, the former Kotakuites can probably vouch for and suggest their old coworkers? Happens all the time in any industry. It's pretty much the definition of networking.

Agreed. At the very most, it's an unfortunate phrasing. But the pun is clearly meant to be "escape gravity" as opposed to "slave escape."

It doesn't mean the husband wins.

It certainly takes effort, but I find that most non-gamers don't have a problem putting in the effort to learn, especially with portal, since the game is so fun and funny. Generally, the people who make it a problem are the experts watching over their shoulders, saying things like "No, look UP. No, just ... UGH LET

I have a hard time agreeing with these picks. Neither game is very newb friendly, and both require a ton of dedication and outside studying before you can feel like you're actually good at it (if that even ever happens, I played and studied Starcraft for years and still sucked). Add to that the fact that both

Imagine how absurd this would be if the genders were flipped. "I CAN'T BE RACIST, I FUCKED AN ASIAN GIRL ONCE!!" Jesus.

Yawn. Wii U's perfectly powerful enough to run the lamesauce games companies are pumping out for next-gen consoles. In fact, I'm actually more surprised this isn't being released for 360 and PS3 as well.

If you want to play the "true next gen" card, then the XBone, with it's 900p 30fps shenanigans, isn't really "true

Ted's the only thing I like about the show anymore. And Robin, maybe. Everyone else is just a cartoon at this point. And not a particularly funny cartoon.

Amazon/Hulu really only have 6.5 seasons of Doctor Who :-/ Still waiting for the second half of Season 7, which will probably not be available until Season 8 is well underway.

No WiiU. Sigh.
