I sort of hate the Bechdel test — or, more accurately, I hate the popular misconception that the Bechdel test is an accurate metric for determining whether a movie is feminist and/or pro-woman.
The Bechdel test is more for judging the film industry as a whole rather than laying blame (or praise) on any individual movie.
