Maybe it's just me projecting my own biases. Embracing the good (Genevieve O'Reilly), previously established (scarred Vader) and inconsequential (Jimmy Smits, Mustafar v Vjun) and ignoring the rest. That's what I would do at least, if I were to retcon the prequels.

Not according to Wookieepedia, with a citation to the R1 novelization (which I don't plan on reading).

Yeah, I get and fully support what R1 was trying to do with Vader's castle. I recognized it right away. It just seemed to dismiss or ignore what had been shown of Mustafar in EpIII. Which is something I honestly don't have a problem with. I guess I was expecting the industrial structure in EpIII to turn into

Completely agreed except for Leia. I thought, especially compared to Tarkin, that she was really well done. Of course I was still high after merciless Vader and the Tantive IV interiors.

Saw it last night. Loved loved loved it. Long post, lots on my mind.

It's so shallow. Every single up vote has nothing behind it.

It can be both things.

In my mind, that would have been Anakin's disillusion from the Jedi/Republic. He really wants to free his mom, but is told there are more important trivial things to attend to.

Just out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on k.d. lang's?

In that case, you should actively avoid this

These violent delights…

Allah Kezeem!

The clips I've seen from the Graham Norton show have big name American celebrities, and they look relaxed and like they're actually having fun - what I imagine Carson's peak must have been like.

I'm slow but I just noticed reading through the comments:

It's odd. Matthew Sweet is one of my favourite artists. I recognize how much of an influence Big Star was on him, but I never had them on the "must listen" list.

Seriously. My only hope the past couple of days has been:

I just read this in this article on the CBC. Ann Coulter credits Peter Thiel.

"Pentiums" is probably my all time favourite Al song. It's not so much nerd culture as IT culture. And the references he dropped, the proto-memes - it's brilliant top to bottom.
