You completely missed the point. There are MEN who menstruate, who don’t appreciate being called “women” just because they have a vagina that bleeds every month. In fact, most of them would really prefer not to be reminded of this fact at all, much less be misgendered in the process.

Sexual was implied by the context surrounding the whole “in her DMs” thing. The tweet implies an escalation which, if we weren’t talking about tampons, might be interpreted as “you might be talking to her privately, but I had sex with her”

Did you have a different terminology in mind for referring to the group of people who do this particular biological function but are not otherwise groupable under a single label?

It’s not about confusing the product, it’s about confusing the BRAND. JD is worried that consumers will buy this product thinking it is a JD licensed product. Therefore the existence and quality of the product reflects on the JD brand.

Well for a long time fantasy just... Didn't exist if it wasn't a kids show. It's frustrating that so much of it is kinda trash, but at least we're getting actual fantasy shows now!

Or worse: makes it look bad in marketing. When my TV is idle on the Netflix app, and shows images and blurbs of random shows, this one comes up. And it looks like hot garbage. Terrible choice of image, very poor quality, and nothing in the blurb makes me interested at all.

They need to change the splash screen image they use for this show, and the blurb. When it pops up on my TV I just think “that looks like total trash.”

What this effects is the ability to specify a color as being a particular Pantone color. You can make something be any color you want still, but if you want to ensure that your printer knows exactly what color it’s supposed to be, you use Pantone.

Uuugh, I hate this. No indication 8n the headline that it's a video even. I'm using Feedly, I click the name of an article, I expect an article. If I was looking for a video I would be on YouTube.

Is this using e-ink? If so, you don't really need to wory about it losing power, the text will remain even if the battery dies.

These are also more obvious in their degree of safety.

Sure, but irrelevant.

Somehow, I don’t think a waiver is going to save them. Nor should it. Let the lawsuit begin.

Sounds fair enough, sure. They can use them to fill their empty museum after they give the artificts that don't belong to them back.

Took you this long to notice? This was what I said when it was initially teased.

If you ever leave a bathroom with the seat up, you’re a disgusting idiot. This has nothing to do with guys vs. gals. It had nothing to do with sitting or standing. It’s about not fucking flushing with the lid open like some sort of animal.

Some toilet seats (and the bowls they go on) are... Too small. Usually the ones in people’s houses. This makes it pretty hard to pee while sitting, and impossible if you happen to have even a partial erection. In some cases, I’ll pee standing, then sit for phase 2.

The take-away isn’t so much whether or not the books were banned, as it is that the school district feels the need to beg everyone to trust rhdm that they didn’t do it. All while ignoring the fact that they intentionally tried to ban a big list of books in an attempt to prevent teachers from introducing more diversity

The wording there is terrible though. They should have been more direct: “If your balance is over the $10k/$20k amount still, then ignore the rest of this article.”

The process of training an AI is very much like the process of training a human artist. You study hundreds, thousands, millions of images created by other artists to learn what stuff looks like, how it’s drawn, how to do certain styles.
