But do we, today, have to care about Tolkien? While playing the 5th edition of a game that has certain elements loosely based on his ideas?

I think it’s less a matter of fantastic races being similar in depiction to people of color, and more a matter of taking the built-in racism out of the game. Orcs are evil, bloodthirsty, and stupid - according to the book. Saying any whole race is some list of negative adjectives is racist.
On the other hand, to what degree are the producers self-perpetuating this type of thing by churning more of it out?
Excuses, excuses. Look at this game, compare to every other AAA title out there. They could have done so much more, with the amount of money this franchise makes, there really isn't any excuse.
Nah, I can't stand "real" maple syrup. I was brought up on the cheap stuff, so the "good" kind tastes terrible to me.
A cord on a lawnmower... I just can’t get past the possibility of cutting its own cord. Luckily, my lawn isn't all that big, so my batter powered mower can handle it. Yeah, it's not cheap. But I really hate cords.
You have more than one outlet per room? The heck kind of made-this-century house do you live in? Cordless for me, I can never find an outlet that’s convenient.
Counterpoint: this just enables the rich to pay for the ability to go faster. Even if the fines are lower, if the system just tally up a fine each month, you will have people who just pay it and don’t care.
Counterpoint: it looks fine.
No, because all members of the party have their own unique purpose. Often, the members who have the least HP and lowest defensive abilities, are also the keys to success.

Congratulations?
If it were that easy, it would be done already. But it's a massive engineering and programming challenge, a challenge that isn't going to be solved overnight. And in the meantime, that research is expensive, and requires a ton of data. Well paying customers collecting data is a win-win.
Physics, that actually made the crash less severe. The crumple zone of the front of the car, the crumpling of the truck, and the sliding of the truck, in combination with the seat belts, made this a pretty tame accident.
I mean, it seems to have automatically applied breaks and reduced the impact. Would be nice it if had noticed the obstacle sooner and stopped/gone around it. But for a vehicle that apparently the driver wasn’t paying any attention to at all, I would say it did pretty well.
It would have been nice for them to actually include a proper post-championship chapter. But that’s not what the DLC was ever pitched as.
My advice, just find an ATM that won't charge you a fee, and withdraw it all in cash. Then deposit at your convenience.
Yeah, its a weird "well we assumed everyone knows" situation. One could guess, but why should the reader need to guess?
Yes, but by knowingly and intentionally exploiting this, they are now committing fraud. If I go to an ATM and try to get $5, but it gives me 5 $20 bills instead of 5 $1 bills, that isn’t my mistake. But is it ethical to keep the $100, a profit of $95? And if I then withdraw more, each time getting $20 bills when I…
It’s not illegal, it’s just a dick move.
