Kobo’s hardware looks great, but the integration of Kindle with the largest eBook marketplace in existence is a pretty big plus. The Kindle works so incredibly well, someone would need to do something seriously impressive to get me to use a different brand of reader. I doubt very much that Amazon will open themselves

Well... There are the buttons? Honestly, I don’t know that I would recommend the Oasis over the Paperwhite to anyone that wasn’t going to use it constantly or that didn’t just have “fuck you” money laying around.

Yeah, it’s a night-and-day difference. But even the Kindle app doesn’t have pop-ups, so I’m not sure what that’s about.

One thing I have considered buying in print is Discworld, I think the complete series (which I own completely digitally) would look cool on a shelf, being comprised of forty-some books. But I can’t really justify the cost, or the space.

The only really use for hard copies is if they are signed, or are something of a work of art or physically impressive in and of themselves. Sure, sure, I get the “well I can lend them” thing, but how many people really do that? How many people that do that haven’t already realized that they can buy a print book for

You don’t exactly get pop-ups on a Kindle. So I’m not sure the complain here.

That’s more Samsung’s choice than Google’s. Since Google actually controls the update process for Pixels, and they run completely unadulterated Android, there is no issue rolling the Beta out to anyone on those devices that want it. But they can’t do that for Samsung devices, not only because they can’t push updates

Unless the woman in question is misrepresenting the situation (if the photos posted are not in fact what she was wearing), there is simply no question here. It's not inappropriate in any way, they would need some particular rule banning bared shoulders to make this a violation.

But really? Stuck in a tin can for six hours and you begrudge someone for wanting to be semi-comfortable? I say go for it, come wearing sweats, PJs, whatever, less bullshit for TSA to hassle you about too.

Actually, I think I have to disagree with almost this entire article. The problem isn’t that Game Freak is trying to please two opposite fan desires, it’s that they consistently fail to execute their attempts to please anyone.

Yup, nothing comes for free. They would have stripped out a few components to save cost. It’s true, the dock doesn’t do anything magical at all, it’s just an adaptor. But inside the Switch there is magic, magic that the Lite will lack.

And it would be confusing. Can you imagine two contemporary Nintendo branded controllers sitting next to each other on store shelves? Regular Switch and Lite customers alike will wonder what the hell the difference is as they baffle at figuring out which one they need. Nintendo has too many customers that don’t really

It makes more sense to use the Pro controller that exists. Few users will buy a controller to use with the handheld-only console, so designing a completely different (but also identical) controller for it would be a waste of resources. They could, at no additional development cost, sell people who want the option

I actually think they should make such a thing, but not as the “Pro” version, but as another $200 option, in addition to the Lite and Pro handhelds.

I do find the pricing to be laughable. The switch dock MSRP is about $90 (though it’s typically sold for around $70). I don’t know why they want us to believe that the dock is worth nearly a hundred dollars, yet a Switch that doesn’t come with one and doesn’t support one or the removable controllers is only $100 less

Same boat, I need a second one, and I really want it to be the improved version. But if that’s not coming by the time Pokemon is, I’m not sure what I’ll do. I imagine Nintendo was conscious of this potential.

I need to pick up a second Switch for Pokemon when it comes, so my wife can play at the same time. I really wish they wouldn’t do this bullshit. I would love to buy a “Pro” as the second one, but I’ll need it sooner than 2020. I hate to buy to spend money on this thing if a Pro is coming, and I hate to buy another of

Both views are completely valid, the question is whose view is actually relevant to the situation. Personally, I would prefer to know. But I also understand how someone who doesn’t want to know feels. That makes the situation more delicate. Since this is a situation of a third party choosing whether or not to reveal

You just gotta get Zen about it. A lot of games are like that, you have to relax your hands and your mind. Too much thinking slows down your reflexes, and makes you second guess. But if you just sort of chill, you will find that you are way better than yourself. Losing makes it harder, frustration makes us tense,

Oh, but there is something distressing going on. On the posts that do show crimes, someone always comments that the homeowner should buy a gun, or that if it happened to them, they would shoot first and ask questions later.
