Cue the Tesla apologists:
Eat your rusty jeep or is it a rusty trombone you prefer?
So, basically, non-Tesla carmakers have standards?
The people who cross shop will buy the Porsche. The rest can’t afford it.
BMW never intended for their names to match engine displacements. Just occasionally it happened by accident.
Pretty sure someone at the dealership thought it was a Prius and bought it at auction.
Until the end of time, there will always be a subset of people that whine about the betrayal of accurate terminology. Porsche and others will continue to call their bluffs and use whatever names they want, and laugh all the way to the bank.
The problem with going smaller is that these days cars were designed for tall wheels. I’m looking at the picture of the Tesla with the 20's and 18's and think the 20's clearly look better. It could just be that black doesn’t seem like a good color for that red car.
If Porsche has held it to the same standards as their other vehicles, making it through more than 15 minutes of a track day is a big selling point.
Agree, these are going to be all over town.

This is a competitor because you not only get the electric powertrain, but you also get a decent car to go with it. The minimalism in a Tesla is nice, but gets a bit old and rough once the car has tens of thousands of miles under its belt.
I’ll have to wait/look elsewhere until a 280mph Bugatti SUV shows up. I have a stroller to haul and my wife wants the better view of traffic.
$20 bucks for 3 hours is less than minimum wage. That doesn’t sound great at all.
When I am hiring independent contractors, one thing stands out: Independent contractors can set their own price, and they aren’t required to bid on every job we open.
And this people is why we cant have nice things. When it started Uber was a side gig for people that already have jobs to make a few bucks on the side. Then a bunch of people decided to do it full time and bitch about how the system doesn’t work as they assume it should. Uber/Lyft didnt do anything to discourage this…
I think this is one of those times where it is okay to be offended, but maybe keep a check on the level of outrage. Otherwise you can start a chain reaction and eventually the whole thing explodes over social media, and you could be left dealing with the fallout for years.
That is a gorgeous sight.
Came here for this, left satisfied. I can’t remember any particular girl/car combo you have posted for us. However your affinity for McDreamy is burned in my brain.
