Absolutely, I never claimed that ICEs were the sole source of noise. Car makers should focus on making them quieter inside with smarter/better materials in addition to quieter mechanicals.

I’m not saying all ICEs should be rounded up and destroyed. Just that lack of noise pollution is another positive aspect of electric, which should and could be much further along in improving many things than it is...
