He just came from a movie that absolutely tanked. Comparing him to Weinstein is like comparing Barsanti to Tom Wolfe.

It’s Barsanti. He does literally zero fact-checking, and his articles generally have at least one glaring error like this.
I’m NOT defending CK, but because facts and journalism matter, I thought I read that he asked? Not that he said he asked, but that his accusers said he asked. Which doesn’t make it ok, but it’s an important detail. If I got that wrong, I apologize.
You are totally right. Neither brother—not Ronan, nor Moses—can know for a fact either way. It’s such a sad and fck’d up situation, because the girl Dylan, I think, is for sure a victim here. It comes down to do I believe Woody Allen is a pedophile, and a really tremendously stupid one based on the situation this is…
100% agree. Allen was completely proven innocent from psychiatrists in court, hundreds of them, from police, from as you said Moses Farrow very telling essay of Mia’s mental unstability and brainwashing, as well as Soon-Yi’s similar testimony.
This is hack journalism. And anyone who cherry picks, such as mentioning…
Do you think the term “witch hunt” should only be used for people who are literally accused of being witches?
It’s definitely a bad metaphor, but the point here is that it still actually is a metaphor. Bardem doesn’t actually think what’s happening to Woody Allen is lynching or even its equivalent.
So maybe the headline shoulda been “JAVIER BARDEM USES BAD METAPHOR.”
“I like firemen who are alive!”
the September death of Grande’s ex, Mac Miller in September
She’s got a blank space, baby
Barsanti, the same guy who tsk-tsked Mel Gibson 22 years too late:
Also, maybe if it’s a comedian that you don’t like, just stop writing stories about them? Lord knows there’s thousands of terrible comedians that receive no AVClub coverage at all.
Oh, another outrage piece in which Barsanti rants about C.K. daring to appear in public without Barsanti allowing it (“paid his penance”).
For your next piece a helpful hint: You know who started out in cellars (not the comedy ones but the ones with beer)? Yes, exactly, Hitler! Nothing good can come out of it -…
Read the whole thing. I found it fascinating. Yeah, he’s a total asshole sure, but he’s more than that. He IS funny. As the Dana Carvey anecdote shows, he can also be compassionate and warm.
It’s a great reminder that people can be complex and multifaceted.
I think it says a lot about Dan Harmon that he somehow managed to come out of an altercation with Chevy Chase looking like the bigger asshole. That’s like out-crazying Gary Busey.
So in this thread we have people who think Norm is a middling comedian, a shitty person, and thinks his guest appearances on a bland ass sitcom are reflective of his career as a whole. These are all takes I hate and disagree with but whatever.
Can I go back to liking him again? It’s been quite the roller coaster.
Hey, guess what? it’s a free fucking country and Norm can say what he wants and think what he wants.
This is a bit. And people are pissed because he doesn’t really care that people are pissed.
