I thought the last season was a return to form mostly!

The obvious play is to replace the voices, but for the new person to not try and mimc what Justin was doing, just have them sound completely different and write it cleverly in to the show. I’m sure Dan would love the challenge to figure out how to make it work.

My theory is that to be a “great” actor all you need is an interesting head and a great voice. Jeremy Strong has neither of those, so maybe his process really does help him, because he is amazing in that role. Brian Cox on the other hand could read out his shopping list and it would be an Oscar worthy performance.

I would like to watch this, but I dislike Fallon (which is a given) but also two of the participants, whom I used to quite like, participated in Imagine-gate so I’m afraid I am unable to watch.

I feel like they could of delt with this long ago buy doing some kind of meta thing where they change the character’s voice In the show but somehow make it clever and funny and part of the show rather than retiring the character, and then we wouldn’t even need to be talking about this now, but sadly it’s not that kind…

I agree, and like, Alan Moore’s hating it seems to me to be more about his self branding as an untouchable genius and less an actual critique of the film.

Hot take: The Watchmen movie was actually pretty good and maybe Alan Moore isn’t as amazing as he thinks he is, but his material is a good foundation for other people to build upon.
