Not often I disagree with the Salty Waitress, but today I do! Respectfully.

If the service sucked, by all means write a Yelp review.
On the other hand, if you went to a restaurant and the service was awesome... write a Yelp review too.
Minneapolis (and St. Paul, I guess) are underrated all together. Neither one are really ‘touristy’ cities so you have to put some effort into finding things you’re interested in. Chances are you’ll probably stay downtown in either city, both of which are linked by the Green Line of the light rail. However, you’d…
Someone mentioned the Skyways. They are enclosed walkways between buildings’ second levels in downtown Minneapolis and St Paul. As a result the second floor of buildings have a lot of light retail, and there is usually more foot traffic on the “Skyway level” than the street. If you take the skyways, just flag down…
When you are in Minneapolis, you gotta tune your dial to 90.3, KFAI. It’s what true community radio should be. Lots of volunteers, supported by the community, mostly through pledge drives. So it’s a different station every time you tune in.
Everyone is going to talk shit about the Mall of America... but one thing that is worth noting is that Minnesota has no tax on most clothing. So that is something to keep in mind if you are in need of something or if the Mall of America is on your agenda. Yeah it’s just a giant mall but there’s a reason why a lot of…
For “getting away”, you don’t have to go far. A few miles west of Minneapolis is Lake Minnetonka. Several of the towns on its shores are quiet and relaxing: Wayzata (pronounced “why-zetta”) on the north side and Excelsior on the south side both offer old town charm and boutique shops.
Ignorant people.
When I wore contacts, I always threw them away. It never occurred to me to flush them. Same goes for medications and condoms. These overly-avid flushers are why you see “flush only toilet paper” signs in restrooms - some people love to flush everything down the toilet.

If the argument was “boycott Twitter until every conservative-leaning user is banned” I could see your point. We’re talking about the most extreme of the extreme, the guys who actively encourage their followers to harass and abuse other people. Jones has done that.
You had me at “Additionally, I refuse to say “sness” because that’s stupid”
Counterpoint: It’s been called N.E.S. in English since forever, Ars Technica had an article that pretty much cements that. One game vs. a shitload of precedent, the precedent wins. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/08/n-e-s-vs-ness-nintendo-complicates-the-pronunciation-debate/
Counterpoint 2: Additionally, I refuse…
Horribly broken site. Your link takes me to a page that says it is searching 1 million flights, and I hadn’t put anything in yet! It appears your link sends me to your SFO-LAS search, which is not incredibly useful
Anyone looking for a sub-$500 computer should consider the pre-owned market. I got a lightly scratched ThinkPad Ultrabook for $200, with an i7,an SSD, and a touschscreen. A new laptop with specs like that will easily cost you over $1500 today.
I’m a huge fan of the Surface line in general. I’ve got a Surface Pro 3, so don’t really need this bad boy, but I’m happy to see MS expanding their lineup, because more people should give these things a chance.
Ammeeennn.
Just to get it out of the way: THIS IS THE OFFICIAL THREAD FOR WHITE GUYS WHO DIDN’T READ THE ARTICLE AND WANT TO POST THAT LINCOLN WAS A REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRATS ARE THE REAL RACISTS.
Never forget that Marissa Alexander shot a warning shot in the roof to stop her estranged husband from hurting her, if this wasn’t a case of Stand Your Ground, I don’t know what is, and Angela Corey rejected the Stand Your Ground and gave that sister 20 years FOR.SHOOTING.AT.A.ROOF
