Hello Concrete my old friend....

I have to say, I developed a HUGE amount of respect for these early Atari devs in my senior year of college. My CS final project was to help add CRT-style artifacts into the 2600 Emulator Stella. Since we wanted to do this right, and not just fake up a pretty fragment/vertex shader combo, we went looking at how other

So glad my now wife and I decided that we were going to plan a BBQ/hang out but it was secretly a wedding that we had planed for a while. No dress code, no body came with expectations, but sure a few people we cared about didn’t come (as they though it was just a Friday get together). Of course, we made sure that a

So it’s OK for someone to force everyone else to do something so long as it’s something you approve of.  Sadly that’s all too typical on both sides of the aisle these days.

I’d love to see this.  Yeah, CA’s economy is huge, it’ll never happen, blah blah blah.  But turning Orange County in to Cuba West would be kind of amusing.

I don’t get why as a guest you wouldn’t call and say you are running late. Seems easy enough and at least lets the hotel know you are still coming

G-T-O

My first thought was an automatic Twin Turbo Z. They’re cheap because nobody wants the 4-speed cars. But 300HP and T-Tops is nice. Problem is you need to get a low mileage one to avoid most of the later mileage maintenance issues.

This headline sounds like my last performance review.

The problem is that it’s fundamentally necessary.

I don’t live in Michigan, but I’m having a hard time being upset that experienced assemblers are making well above starting engineer pay, and that untrained newbies are still making almost 3k a month. I understand not knowing whether you’re going to get raises or better benefits can be daunting, but the pay itself

I thought one of the reasons why fuel mileage was problematic was BECAUSE of safety stuff. Roofs that can hold the car up, more sheet metal, extra electronics/cameras/etc, etc are all weight. More weight means less fuel efficency. Saying that these two are not connected doesn’t seem to align with reality.

Probably because there’s this thing called a lunch break.

Shit. If my high school guidance counselor had told me that I could be making $58,240 a year without any overtime, with a GED and zero certifications after only 4 years the assembly line, I’m not sure I would have finished high school.

How about a riding vacuum cleaning for really big houses?

It’s a lot more like holding every republican accountable for trump, which is a pretty solid approach at this point to be completely honest. And let’s not act like the teamsters are suddenly fine because he got a pair of concrete wingtips. The UAW and the teamsters have corruption in their DNA that goes well beyond
