that’s not true, not all disk brakes are the same.  My Frontier has the rotor bolted to the hub separate from the lug nuts.  To remove the rotor you have to remove the hub.  Same goes for my 280zx, not sure it’s a nissan thing or what.

Yes. I’ve had tire shops put them on so tight you’ll never get them off. It’s comical to watch them wrench the wheels down with the impact gun, then go around with the torque wrench to “torque” them but they are already over-torqued, so they just click, click, click away, not moving the nut any more at all of course.

I thought by now Teslas were supposed to be waking up at night and doing robo-Uber driving for you to generate cash.  Whatever happened to that?  What a joke.

In a week you’ll be an expert.  It’s really not that hard to get used to, it’s just a matter of doing it.  Fears of stalling and being stuck in a highway intersection are hard to overcome though.  Lol.

This generation maxima is possibly one of the best cars ever made.  The VQ was so smooth in it’s 3.0L iteration.  It’s never been quite as good since.

Worth saving as it’s a Fuji.  Not sure why you went with those goofy handlebars.  My old bike repair manual covers these brakes but I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in the wild.

I’m sure the local news will get a statement from this lady.  It will be very interesting to hear from her on how this all went down.  Amazing.

Somebody told me once “Cars today are built to get their best mileage at 70mph” I tried to explain drag, but gave up.

Yeah I think you are right. Snoqualmie pass here in Washington often does say “Chains requires except awd/4wd.” It does seem like chains are required more often these days, but I’m not sure. I used to run 4 studded tires on my 280zx and I never had any issues. I never remember chaining up, except to get out of a

I was just gonna ask where those headlights are from!

First stick I drove was a 1955 M38A1 jeep. My dad tried to get me to “heel-to” it on my first lesson, which needless to say didn’t go so well. Probably my 2nd was my dad’s rabbit pickup. I remember only being able to drive it around in 1st for a while. Lol.

I would bet the range rover has both output shafts on the side of the transfer case, which means it would have offset pumpkins front and rear.  Not a lot of transfer cases will make that swap easy.

Yeah I would say that is right. There were japanese dealers in the Yakima area pretty early on. My dad’s family had a datsun pickup pretty early on in the 60's. The 2000gt sold for $6800 according to wikipedia which probably would have been affordable to some of the “gentry” class of the area (farm suppliers or

I don’t remember all the details but I remember chatting with some mechanic that used to work in Yakima, WA.  Well he was telling me that he had a guy that would bring one of these in for service every once in a while.  I thought the guy was smoking something but then he described how the battery was accessed by a

Sorry but the E-Type looks goofy in comparison.  Esp. with the more upright windscreen.

Passenger can suck it.  Put your hands in your lap and twiddle your thumbs and shut up.  Jk.

There’s something to be said for simplicity. If the future is controlling everything via a crappy touch-screen that’s gonna die someday, no thanks. No reason electric cars need to be any more “techy” than ICE cars. A lot less is going on under the hood actually.

She’s knows what she’s doing.  Don’t watch the wap video you probably won’t be able to sleep at night.

Well yes I own one so sure.  You really think hilux is any better than nissan 720 or hardbody or mighty max or isuzu?  they are all good rigs.  22r was good engine, but was it any tougher than the naps-z or ka-24?  I doubt it.

Any Sentra built in mexico.  They just don’t seem to die.
