Looking forward to see how this runs on my Nook. 10.1 wasn't too shabby in the first place, was able to play quite a few Kongregate games at 30+ f/s.

I'll defo be looking that up. Don't like switching to Ubuntu because then I lose my supercheap Verizon 3G. If I can get TeamViewer to run from ChromeOS, I'll actually be able to access my home desktop while riding in a car.

Interestingly, as my Europe-intended Milestone's 3G radio uses the same radio bands as AT&T's 3G network, the 3G might actually START working after the switch. Been stuck on EDGE for ages with T-Mobile. (My fault for not researching the phone beforehand). But also, by the time the switch happens, it'll be time for a

Yeah I've been fooling around with TeamViewer this weekend and it's great! Just like Live Mesh except I can access it on a computer that doesn't have Windows Live installed. But I can't get it to run on my CR-48 right now. Thing logs in and the connection opens to my desktop but I just get a blank white flash window.

I don't know how this affects me yet. I'm not technically a T-Mobile customer, but a customer of a local cellular co-op that operates under T-Mobile's affiliation. (i-wireless) Except for the fabulous plan pricing, it's not like we were getting the benefits of being T-Mobile subscribers anyway....we had a different

Only T-Mobile USA was sold to AT&T, T-Mobile USA formerly being the property of Deutsch Telekom, which I assume also sold T-Mobile UK to Orange.

Best Wonder Woman ever.

Damn. Somebody ought to facepalm in my direction.

Considering the huge support the development community has given the Nook Color (I myself bought an NC only after discovering I could run CyanogenMod7 on it), and the incredible price of the NC (mine was $199 with coupon) it's going to be hard for Amazon to do something better without offering some major advantage

Next, AP Stylebook, please make "web site" (two words) obsolete in place of "website". Websites are things I visit at regular intervals throughout the day, but I haven't been to a web site since the 90s.

Teamviewer looks probably perfect! Thanks!

Some Googling led me to LogMeIn before I posted the question, it does seem like the most ideal solution, but some other reading led me to believe that the web-based interface is IE-only thanks to a required plugin. There's an Android client, but it's $25. Wanted to see community options.

I can't use Dropbox or Google Docs to access files that aren't already inside Dropbox or Google Docs. I'm looking for a way to browse my harddrives remotely.

I bought my SR-80's on amazon for $80. Yes they rock.

So I'm going on a trip next month with my Android tablet and CR-48 (the CR-48 is dualbooting Ubuntu and ChromeOS). I need a way to access the files on my Windows 7 desktop at home. I don't need a full RDP client to be able to control my entire desktop, just need to be able to move files around. Like move them into my

I tried it. Ate a humongous amount of memory and wasn't as fast as the stock browser so I uninstalled. It seems to do better at rendering CSS2/3 though (it even loaded my custom fonts from the Google Webfonts API, which neither the Android Browser nor Safari nor Dolphin will do.) And a very nice looking UI.

Wow. Well maybe it'll still happen some day in the future. The humongous interview ( [www.details.com] ) with the cast I read shortly ago mentioned that most of them would love to come back for a 3rd season. Netflix stepped in too late.

Interactive screensavers? What is this, 1998?

Back in 1997, watching 100 episodes of The Simpsons wouldn't have been so bad of a chore.

I tried it out at a Best Buy store late in February. Screen seemed fine to me then, but it was also ideal conditions. Color didn't seem as vivid as the IPS panel in my Nook Color....and I paid $200 for the Nook.
