This thread needs more I HAZ CHEEZBURGER comments

@Chispea: Thanks for the tip!

@greyseal: A month with the Chemex and I thinking about buying a french press again. I bought the Chemex to replace my press after it broke while washing. It's a different style of coffee, by all means, where the Chemex excels in flavor, press coffee has more body to it.

@Thyme Enough at Last: I've got a Bialetti Moka as well as a Chemex. Both are fantastic, and each brews coffee with a different end-result. The Moka's brew can be borderline espresso strength, I sometimes use it to make Americanos when I don't have access to an espresso machine. The Chemex veers more toward a lighter,

I got my six-cup from amazon for $30 shipped. Spend a few bucks on the extras though: a lid, cleaning brush, and if you've got a non-glasstop electric stove, the warming coil. Though that last one may be unnecessary, I'm actually finding that microwaved Chemex coffee tastes the same as rewarming on the stove.

Woo! Castle is in good shape for Season 4, and Raising Hope, which really surprised me with how good of a comedy it is despite the stupid name, is also looking good for a sophomore renewal. Despite some scary numbers on another of my favorite shows, my day is made.

@DahlELama: I re-read your post and think I misread your desire to punch the Outsourced smiley faces as a desire to assault the cast. Now I get it. Duh.

@DahlELama: The casting on Outsourced is not terrible, and they do the best with the material they have, so I don't particularly feel like punching any of the actors in the face. The writers and producers, on the other hand, they can burn in whatever hellish afterlife they may or may not believe in.

Community is faring worse than Outsourced? This does not bode well. I hope Outsourced's current ratings are based on its "new show" appeal, I want that show to die a painful death.

Unlike the majority of comments so far, I really enjoyed this exposition, even though I am firmly outside the minimalism camp. I felt Mr Hughes made some frank points about the real reasons he chose to strip down certain aspects of his material lifestyle, and none of those reasons had to do with aspiring to some lofty

@iamnomad: Why am I an engineer today?

@pixelslave: Playback wise, yeah it's ok. Haven't found any files it won't play. My gripe is mainly the UI and skipping. The UI is really buggy and unresponsive, the controls like to jump in and out in front at random, and the ads seem to be placed in the most inconvenient places possible.

@Brandon Fletcher: Some FOX programs might be available on Hulu Plus, but Fringe is not (other than the last 4 episodes). Found that out this week when I went to catch up on Season 2. Guess I'll be Netflixing it.

@Prawn_Star is the official shellfish of whitenoise: Right! That's the version I want. Every iteration after it just cut more and more features. And since the harddrive is replaceable with standard 2.5" drives, it's not like you lose anything by having an old model.

You trying to sell your PS3 fat? I've been looking to get one lately and wanted to get one of the old models that supported SACD's and had the flash memory slots.

@not_a_virus.exe.vbs: I've read about people with proximity sensor problems, but I've never had them myself. Maybe they fixed the hardware between my unit and the release model. (only guessing though)

@not_a_virus.exe.vbs: I've got the Euro version, which is essentially the Droid built for GSM networks, minus American 3G bands. (The American "Milestone" is basically the same hardware but a different body and no keyboard.)

This isn't the first play-all video player, hopefully it's the first good one though. I've got both arcMedia and RockPlayer on my Milestone currently which are both terrible in their own ways. But I'll try this one and see if it's not suck.

It's that gal from the West Wing! Gawd I love her...
