@Timey.wimey: Studio 60 was my gateway drug into Sorkin's work. After I finished the show on Netflix Instant, I've been getting West Wing DVD's for most of the summer. After I finish that I'll try Sports Night. Watching The American President for the first time this weekend.

@ircmaster: And writer Aaron Sorkin! You can't lose.

My desire to watch this movie rests solely on its screenwriter, Aaron Sorkin. Anyboy else and I wouldn't have cared less.

@Fulgurite: Those are gorgeous! If I had $100 to spend on a clock I'd pick one up in a heartbeat. Bucket list.

I want an alarm clock made of these but am certain it'd become half my electricity bill.

So what scifi sub-genre is Inception the Sharktopus of?

The only good thing to come out of Threshold, this absurdly detailed recap: [www.agonybooth.com]

@ManchuCandidate: Right, were Captain Picard started turning into a Lemur, Worf, some sort of wolf/bear, Troi, a fish, and what the fucking hell?

A return to long, winding, scenic tracks and a full lot of you-can-only-dream-of exotic supercars, this is the Need For Speed I fell in love with.

Drive through any county in Iowa and nearly every farm you pass will be using a different hybrid variety, and often farmers will alternate varieties each year. The kind a lot uses depends on its intended production (ethanol, corn syrup, etc.), but

@RuckingFetard: I kind of look at Mosspuppet like I do Richard Nixon's head in Futurama. Yeah the voice is only vaguely reminiscent of the actual person being imitated, but the imitation is funnier.

@chrisburlow: Jobs loves to make arbitrary statements like that one and call them rhetoric. :P

Remember, most mad "scientists", including many referenced above, are really just engineers.

I love both but am fans of neither if the drink is made improperly, and coffee is much easier to screw up than tea. So if somebody asks if I want coffee or tea, I usually say "tea" because, unless the maker is a fellow coffee nerd, they're going to make it wrong. Decent leaves and a timer are all you need to make a

@Bennett Blodinger: That did confuse me as well, then I decided that once docked, the Seabird must be simply acting as projection hardware to display output provided by the computer it's docked to.

Hey, Structure, you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind. Hey, Structure.

@Krakenstein: That's the first thing I saw when I looked at this.
