Ok that's a damn cool proof-of-concept. And though I don't absolutely love Arcade Fire's new album, this is one of the better songs from it.
I've visited Edison's estate in Florida (it's a museum) a couple times. It's pretty cool, always enjoyed the tour.
@curiouscomputer: ...the future of Chrome icognito browsing?
I'm reading Gizmodo/Lifehacker in private mode right now! Fun on the bun.
@StalePhish: There were both. Both of which I had for some reason. The floppy version was what, like 18 floppies? Maybe more, [audible laughter]. But the CD-ROM came with "extras".
@Curves: +1
Remember all that stuff that came on the Windows 95 CD? A few games that demo'd the new OpenGL capability, a preview of Microsoft Bob, and, among others, a Weezer music video. Fun on the bun.
@Pill_Hell_Tom: Those things make you look like you ride short bus, but wow do they sound killer. I use them in my home studio when mixing demo tapes.
There's always money in the banana stand.
@INHUMANITY: Yeah that is a bummer. Surround has got to eat a lot of bandwidth though. I've got some DTS audio rips that run at about 800kbps (lossy compressed!)
@spl150db: I live 45 minutes from Newton myself, so CDMA or GSM? 3G is almost ubiquitous on the CDMA networks in Iowa (US Cellular, Verizon, but NOT Sprint), but very spotty for GSM (T-Mobile/i-wireless, AT&T). Edge coverage is everywhere.
$200 for 6 seasons of blu-ray and some physical extras is a pretty reasonable price. I've seen Battlestar Galactica boxsets (that other show with the arguably terrible ending) go for $50 per half season.
@jeffrey: It was Debussy's "Arabesque No. 1" - first question on his FAQ ( [www.jackstargazer.com] )
@KefkaticFanatic: I'm going to assume he recycled old used cartridges...
3 years later, there STILL isn't 3G in Ottumwa, Iowa. Hell we're doing good to have it in Des Moines. :P
This week's episode and the last were brilliant, easily the caliber of seasons 3 or 4. The fact that they packed a 70-minute story into 22 minutes is a very good thing, because most of Season 6 has felt like they stretched 10 minute stories into 22. This is the Futurama I love, insane premises, light-speed plots, and…
That totally jumps the whale.
A GSM Droid 2 would be great news. Might actually be able to get it! Now, just leak some info about a GSM Galaxy S Pro (Epic)...
Don't forget it's also the late Gene Roddenberry's birthday. (It was on IMDB's home page this morning, it's not like I know these things.)
