It seems to be a commonly held opinion around here, but even though I'm not a big Nolan fan, I looove this movie. It's very entertaining and a total mindfuck, but the rivalry between Angier and Borden is what makes it. They're both so incredibly ambitious and yet deeply flawed, the movie has no real antagonist. I'd

It's hard to pin down this album for me right now. Not as good as their best but certainly better than their last, and of all their past works I find that it reminds me of most of the Water Curses EP, but not as good. "On Delay" is like an instant classic for me though, that's my jam.

I love how some of these just sound like the preacher from The Princess Bride reading the titles out loud.

No, they're too busy botching his redemption arc.

I'm waiting for the cyberpunk spin-off, Johnny Mnemonwick.

Three-ish seasons feels like a good end point. The way last season escalated made it pretty clear that the show could only sustain itself for so long.

The header image sums up the article perfectly.

Sounds more like a reboot/origin story that's going to end with "We should call ourselves… The Ghostbusters!" as the final line.

But he redeemed himself with Penny Dreadful!

A lot of good genre films are being released on VOD these days, it's actually a solid platform.

I'm honestly not too worried about this. Dennis Villenueve feels like a great choice to me. It's gonna all come down to the script, because I have no doubt that he'll be able to pull off the look and atmosphere.

I hadn't thought about it that way. It even seems kind of ironic like "Your movie about snowball fights is way too culturally specific. But we're gonna flood your marketplace with our own stuff if that's okay. We hope you like our elections too."

Gene was far from the best.

I love the Fetty Wap remix because it preserves the hook, beat and the "eat the booty like groceries" line without having Chris Brown on the song. Hell, it's probably just the better version over-all.

I'm imaging an action game like you've described where you play as Zelda/Sheik, except it's developed by Platinum Games. Do want.

Stylish indie directors decided to start making horror films which makes it okay for critics to like them, so that means we're having a renaissance.

Same. Although I will admit that the idea of a multi-day snowball fight is appealing, but I don't see why that is Canadian specific.

He never stopped smiling.

I'm so glad this is back. Not the funniest episode, but still full of great little touches. Ilana's refusal to do a Chinese accent. The sewer voice was totally creepy. And the art gallery was just full of hilarious stuff. Was there was a toy soldier sucking a straw sticking out of the tip of a penis?

Nothing lately, but I've been watching my friend play Silent Hill. It's really surprising. People didn't lie when they said this game didn't have jump scares, which is what most often deters me from playing horror games, but it's also not very, eh, survival-y either. The enemies seem easy to kill and ammo is abundant.
