Since he targeted this family over a period of time, his “great people” revelation came only AFTER he was caught and about to be sentenced.  No doubt his lawyer told him that showing remorse would help get him a lighter sentence and may spare him some beat downs in prison.

Forgiveness is up to the individual, those who were wronged get to decide. I would have a difficult time with that level of forgiveness but admire those who can. If forgiving this dolt brings them peace, good for them.

I have a feeling the phrase “It’s time to unleash some violence.” is gonna come back to haunt him in prison.
