We would only be pissed off at kids(usually older teenagers) who didn't bother wearing any costume at all. We saved the worst candy for them. As for all the kids who got dropped off in the neighborhood, they were mostly the same kids who got bussed into our neighborhood school so it didn't seem weird at all.

The people who truly care about you will want to be there no matter what day. People who don't like it shouldn't come. Saves you money. And Friday isn't the middle of the week.

Did she not know what her personal budget was like? I mean, presumably she's been taking care of her own finances prior to marriage, right?

creepy crawlers were more fun than the Easy Bake Oven.

If I'm engrossed in a book, being interrupted is seriously annoying.

Wait...this is real and not a spoof? Because that is some seriously AWFUL animation.

What's really upsetting is all the people in Spain who are more upset about the dog than people in danger of getting ebola.

I would've been happy with a backyard wedding if I or anyone in my family had a yard, or a yard that could fit more than 6 people.

wasn't there a recent study showing couples with big weddings having more overall happiness in their marriage than people with small ones?

I have seen men get catcalled by other men. While it seems rare( I'm woman so I guess I really don't know how rare or common it is), you would be left alone most of the time, but you still might have gotten catcalled.

This is better than "You'll be in my fart" and "When you wish upon a fart"

I love buying skirts and dresses at eshakti because they'll custom make it to your measurements. ALSO, every dress I've bought from them has POCKETS! Big, accommodating pockets.

I think the problem of female characters gets addressed when you hire more women in the story department and as directors. These are people who get to have control over the story. There are plenty of women in animation, but they tend to be producers and colorists and designers.
Pixar has only hired ONE female

It used to just confuse me. I looked like crap when I felt lazy and weirdos were paying even more attention to me.

I don't know about that. After all, they forced out Brenda Chapman from Brave. She was their first and only female director, and it was her story/idea.

I have a theory about why women get hit on even when they're dressed in crappy, baggy clothes and haven't done their hair or make up. I think the creeps think you have low self esteem and are maybe desperate/pathetic enough to succumb to their harassment.

And astronomy is full of sparkles!

I was going to complain about how easily celebrities just get to publish children's books, but this one is actually really good and I'm impressed.
