Yeah. Its pretty much that way with the release as well. Everyone was like “cortana! Edge! Xbox!” But if I don’t have or use either then its just an odd verion of windows wih a nifty skin.

If it were some stalker or something attacking them through their location,that would make sense. One should not need to expect that from the police in a civilized area.

Unfortunately,some things require windows to work well. If there were good,cost effective alternatives for every case,people would already have switched since in theory they have the option to do so. They should have offered to let the people running the unofficial server pay for the privledge of using the content. That way blizzard still makes money,blizzard doesnt have to directly maintain the old version and leave the responsibility for that to the people willing to do it,and if they missstep or money dries…
