I’m fine with the 40pts for 1st, 39 for 2nd etc. My suggestions are A) if a driver is more than 3 laps down, they get no points (so if 10 drivers are more than 3 laps down, the 30th place driver would get 10pts, and no one after him/her would score points. If all drivers finish on the lead lap or no more than 2 laps…
