Geeez. What are you lot going to do when laptops/tablets are just a thin solid slate of some as-yet-unspecified material that is mass printed/produced in our homes? That when you want to recycle it, you just drop it in a hopper and it's melted back into primordial ooze that can be then used to make the next gadget.

5 years later, still using my old iMac. 4Gb of Ram, 128Mb graphics. Running sweetly on Lion. Does everything I need to do daily. Earlier this year invested in a top spec (i7) mac mini that is planned to be for audio and video editing. I fully expect to still be using this in another 4 years. The iMac cost me

The Hulk punching a mile long flying space beast thing and having it flip up like a car hitting a wall. That was my favourite physics "extravaganza". I found that it was acceptable with herculean levels of disbelief suspension, and mostly just made the movie even funnier. Also Black Widow, as a normal human being,

Hehe that's a fun game for most of the internet...

Yup, I use Tango Media Remote ([bit.ly]) to control my old 3GS plugged into my hi-fi. Works flawlessly. :) (Not Jailbroken)

What you are being shown, what the mark is being shown and what is actually going on. With Leverage there is less deceit to the viewer, you are on the side

So not taking vitamin supplements would reduce the risk of death? How do you reduce a certainty?

Must've been the singer.

LOST: A bit like playing Myst. Pretty, interesting, but ultimately pointless.

UK, ditto.

Just ordered one in the UK, came to just under £32 including VAT. Don't think I'm likely to get it for a month though. Something to look forward to!

Just for fun, the apocalypse has it's own facebook group:

Well it made me laugh. If it's a joke, excellent, if not, excellent anyway! :)

I think what is meant is that the meaning of our lives is that we die. We are determined to give our lives meaning, precisely because they are finite. If our lives went on indefinitely we would have to find other ways to inspire effort and growth as everything could literally be done tomorrow.

I think my question would be what does it feel like at the moment it flips?

I must be really old, I can only think Crystal Castles. :)

It's not a schooner, it's a sailboat.

I recently bought myself an iRig whilst on the hunt for tone. It sounds pretty good through headphones and as others have noted makes for a simple and easy way to record an idea. However after spending a lot of time researching I realised that what I was really looking for as a guitarist was not an emulated sound
