Yep, that is 100% a coil spring. Source: I have driven many older cars in Minnesota.

My 1990 F-150 has the main 5: Gas, Brake, Clutch, Headlight Dimmer, and e-brake. It’s fun when you’re turning onto a new road, and a car pops over the hill.

She’s going to Business Insider.

Highish miles (I know, I know “it’s a diesel bro!”), plus an unknown amount of idling time, in the generation that’s not known for reliability? Yeah... no.

3/7 = 0.43

I would disagree with Panther platforms cars being safe in a crash. The strongest part of the car (the frame) is under you, and the design dates back to 1979. They aren’t any heavier than a modern vehicle either. Jack Baruth had an ugly accident with one that really made me swear off the platform:

It’s not the clearest in the article, but the ship had just departed Brunswick, Georgia

The Roadsmart is advertised as “ultra-high mileage” by Dunlop. That is the touring tire. It’s just that moto-tires always are geared towards higher-grip.

Full rebate doesn’t mean the full price of the car. It just means if there’s a rebate for “up to 10k”, you get that full amount if the the car is under the 45k/55k price point. Then, as the price of the car increases, the rebate amount decreases.

Me and my 2-door Golf know how to fix this...

Pretty sure those rims are from a Vibe...

I’m guessing it’s oil pressure. Fairly useful in an 33 y-o vehicle.

I was a temp a an Ag company in engineering for a little over 2 years between starting college and finishing college. Then the industry nosedived and I was an easy way to cut costs. Oh well, I made good bank while there which made school viable again.

I’d agree that there are better touring bikes, but I’m not sure you can do sport tourer on the cheap better than this. I’ve ridden a similar Concours and didn’t care for it at all. And the ST was under 2k (much higher miles than this PC800 though)

If you’re buying a 90's Honda sport tourer, you ought to be buying an ST1100 with double the horsepower. However, I rode my ST to work this morning so I might be *slightly* biased.

Favorite Honda? My ST1100 AKA a Goldwing that can take corners...

My 5000 lb truck (I’ve weighed it) is lugged around by a 150 HP engine (Ford 300). It’s slow, but it works. *shrug*

Now I have “Mon. Ster. Monster Garage. dun dun dun dun.” stuck in my head...

It’s funky and weird and, most importantly, it’s different. All crossovers look the same, so anything that looks different and deviates from the set recipe is alright in my book.

They partnered with Carlin this time around (probably because other teams said no). It’s noteworthy that Carlin was behind all 3 cars that didn’t qualify.
