I love how off roading is now driving down gravel roads. This thing will be great for suburbanites who want to feel like they are adventurous because they drove their luxury car into the woods and maybe across some wet grass.

I gotta say, I’m reeeeeeeally disgusted with the idea of a “performance SUV/CUV.” At first they were tolerable, now the whole segment seems just downright repugnant.

I’ve owned multiple BMWs myself, and I liked them too...

They are both soccer mom blobs with a bigger engine, highly pretentious badges and (frequently) obnoxious owners. They deserve all the mocking they receive.

Rich soccer moms. It’s not about the drive being too “stiff” or “uncomfortable.” It’s about knowing that AMG-trim Benz or M-trim BMW is a step above what the average person can afford.  There’s buying for the badge, then there’s buying the badge with the special badge on top. 

Weird. I don’t recall seeing a single BMW SUV at a track day this year, unless it was pulling a race car. What is the point of these?

I can’t wait to see these jetting around suburbia driven by some soccer mom with her cellphone glued to her ear as she rushes to Walmart.
