Will it BroDoze?
Will it BroDoze?
Is this something an enthusiast with plenty of time could tackle or does it require a bunch of specialized tools?
People who bend the rules to bring animals in public places typically have a shitty “not my problem, there are people for that” attitude. Those were the exact words that came out of a woman’s mouth when I informed her that her yappy mutt had shat upon the floor at Home Depot. Next time that happens I’ve vowed to pick…
A manual might not be technically better off-road, but it is more fun, same as in sports cars.
As I recall the Wrangler has one of the highest take rates for manuals so if the Bronco ends up being a similar vehicle it likely will too. Trying not to get my hopes up too much!
Yeah, rhinestone cowboy/cowgirl types eat that shit up. Impresses your friends on the way to the rodeo or chain country bar.
Indeed, after a long and successful commenting career I was summarily banished to the grays for cracking wise one too many times about crossover reviews. Every once in a while my comments escape my gloomy gray prison to see the light of day again, but not often. Beware.
Fake beadlocks. Any modified Jeep must have fake beadlocks.
I don’t understand this logic, if my wife were hellbent on buying an incredibly boring and poor performing vehicle I would not want a performance edition of said car. I would encourage her to buy the base model and then put the difference towards something actually fun, like a used Miata, mountain bikes, a fun…
Hit a little close to home eh? Performance crossover = oxymoron.
Good point, to be fair it is probably a couple of aggro Starbucks-addled soccer moms.
Benny Hill music was playing in my head for the entire video! Watching two of the slowest, worst handling, frumpiest vehicles on the market getting into a low-speed duel is surprisingly entertaining.
A cheap FW-190 stand-in for a low budget WWII movie? That would be my guess .
Not very descriptive...assault and battery can mean anything from a wet willy to hacking someone’s arm off with a machete.
The Hindenburg of crossovers?
Supertech oil (or any store brand oil) is generally very good, there are only a handful of manufacturers refining motor oil so the quality stays consistantly high. I’d rather use cheap oil and change it more frequently than expensive oil and keep it for a long time.
You must hate babies! Everyone knows SUVs are moar safer because tall!
Either that, or keep them and Air Force bases start looking like David Tracy’s lawn!
Shit like this is the reason I bought a new JK in 2016 even though I knew the JL was on the way. I figured (hoped?) 9 years was enough time for Jeep to work out all of the major bugs.
I’ve thought about this a lot, the divergence of what enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts think are cool cars has never been more stark. Up until about 10 years ago non-enthusiasts aspired to own sports cars even if they had a minivan in the driveway. The Porsche 911, BMW M5, Corvette, Mustang, etc were considered cool eve…
