Just a reminder that speaking ill of a Chevy Captiva can earn you face to face meeting with the business end of an anti-aircraft gun in countries like North Korea. Thank God for our Freedom!
I’ve always liked the aquamarine color of Russian cockpits...seems so soothing.
I think the problem is that most people buy cheap aluminum wheels. High quality, forged aluminum wheels are not cheap.
Totally a toy, being a Phoenix resident I can visualize the owner...middle aged guy with a paunch whose sole outfit consists of a visor, golf polo shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and flip flops. He also owns a diesel Chevy brodozer, wake boarding boat, off-road side by side, and a suitable McMansion to house said toys.…
What are you talking about? The Wrangler is one vehicle, one. There are no others on the market even remotely like it.
Ok, how about pheasants instead?
I don’t really think the Liberty belongs on this list. It was one of Chrysler’s better vehicles at the time and fulfilled the mission of providing a legitimately off-road capable SUV with more on-road comfort than the JK for a reasonably cheap price. If Fiat would have updated it with the Pentastar and a better…
If anything I’m hoping the Bronco will help bring Wrangler prices back down to earth. Chevy missed the boat by choosing to slap the Blazer name on yet another crossover instead of building an honest SUV.
Crossovers look safer because they are big and blobby, that’s all that really matters to most people.
If I had the choice between a brand new 2000 Civic SI and a 2018 Civic SI it would be a tough call. Even with the extra horsepower the 2018 is hardly any quicker. Being lighter and smaller, the 2000 probably handles better. I’m guessing the 2000 is built better, given this was near the end of Honda’s golden period…
I don’t get it either, especially with the massive increase in online shopping and home delivery the need to “haul” crap home from big box stores seems like less of a pressing need. More than anything I think it is just a way for people to justify following the herd. No one wants to admit that they bought a pickup or…
Its because Americans are absolutely, completely, irrationally obsessed with “hauling” capacity, even if it is never used. Living with a vehicle that doesn’t have the hauling capacity of a pickup or crossover is like leaving the house without pants.
Agreed, I don’t know how Ford could reasonably expect to “reclaim [its] rightful place as the off-road vehicle leader.” with a butched up crossover.
In Soviet Russia, you are dog’s co-pilot.
I wonder if the licensing agreement would allow Mahindra to clone a current gen Wrangler and then undercut Jeep on the price?
A coworker recently purchased a Land Rover almost identical to the one in the video, I invited him along for a day of off-roading and he looked at me like I had invited him to eat a rat for lunch. He claimed that the Land Rover isn’t designed for that sort of thing...I have to say I’m inclined to agree with him.
What brand of potato where those pictures taken with?
Only one question left...was it Manuel or automatic?
