It’s ironic that the Camry is starting to lose its beigemobile status, 10 years ago I would have never guessed it but these days the very fact that it is #notacrossover is enough to make it the edgy, sporty choice. Of course having 300 hp doesn’t hurt either.

That’s the perfect supervillian: beware the White Cobra who spits herpes infected venom and goofy slurs!

This happens quite a bit actually, companies like Icon will buy completely thrashed FJs and Broncos just for the VIN and maybe the frame and then replace every other part essentially creating a completely new vehicle.

Because coolmoms don’t drive vans...even though this is essentially a van with conventional doors.

Right on the money, Comrade!

I love the e63. The infamous “Bangle Butt” actually works well here, it is a perfectly proportioned and cohesive design. It reminds me of the 90's 8 series which I also love.

I think this is one of the very rare cases where chrome wheels are done well, usually they look like tacky crap but somehow Nissan nailed it with the 300zx.

Well the Duke boys figured she got the jumping part down just fine but could use a little of the old Hazzard county know-how on sticking the landing.

$75k? That’s damn near Land Cruiser money...and the Land Cruiser does more than just play an off-roader on TV.

This is the interesting question, and jailbreaking/cracking is certain to become commonplace once electric cars become more popular.

I’ve had great luck on craigslist, the secret is to never ever include a phone number; this alone will filter out 90% of the idiots and the “u still got??” types of messages. If a buyer takes the time to craft an e-mail with decent grammar, chances are that person will be serious and easy to deal with.

Can’t blame Mercedes, faux-rugged is huge! I do wonder if this idea will catch in with sports cars: Lambo body with Corolla drivetrain and suspension.

If Kia/Hyundai wants to be taken seriously as a luxury brand it’ll have to do what Lexus did in the 90's and build cars that are superior in quality in most every way compared to the competition - for a discounted price. Building a pretty darn good luxury car won’t be enough to make consumers notice.

Cool truck but you’d think Dave Chapelle could afford something nicer than a beat up old Humvee.

Nope, just stock Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser, G-wagon, Armada, Tacoma, Colorado, F150...need I go on? Seriously, look up the reviews, talk to some people who are into off-roading...or not, alternative facts are in these days so believe what you want!

Lets see...first hand experience encountering those vehicles on the trial, professional reviews, off-road message boards, what other sources do I need? There is a reason no one buys LRs or VWs for overlanding and it ain’t cost. No sour grapes here, just reality. Sounds like you might be upset that your wife made

Ok now I know you are full of it. Most every vehicle LR sells, espcially the Range Rover, have about as much off road capability as the average Subaru, many much less. Even the LR4, the most off-road oriented model in the lineup, can barely hang with a Grand Cherokee, much less a Wrangler, 4Runner, or any number of

Both crossovers. “Best in a class” is marketing speak, like being the tallest midget. Neither the Q7 or any current Land Rover offered in the US will hold up to serious towing or off-roading; they are designed and built to take upper-middle class cool moms to the yoga studio, Whole Foods, and through a few inches of

SUV = heavy-duty wagon designed for off-road, towing, carrying heavy loads etc.

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug...some Wall St or Silicon Valley guy will buy this without blinking, is identical to his first car, felt up his high school sweetheart for the first time, drove to killer frat parties, etc.
