    GTA IV got a lot of flack in its day, but I always believed it had the best story out of all the GTA installments.     It's a definite downgrade compared to the storytelling in GTA IV, RDR & Max Payne 3. The kill Trevor/Michael endings seemed totally half-arsed and really jarring. The story lacks a sense of progression in many ways.

    Exactly my problem I had with GTA IV. The story itself could have been so much, but the world it lived in dragged it down so much.
