@dallasmay: I'm actually quite happy with Hulu's ads. I'd be happy to use their service with the ads, as long as I don't have to pay a monthly fee. If I have to pay a monthly fee, I don't want ads. Sorry for not being clearer on that. :D

@dallasmay: It's a step forward, yes, but only because they expanded their library and offered better quality.

I wasn't a Vista hater until Win7 came out. Now I go back to Vista machines and they annoy me with their slow startup and slow networking stack.

@MrCheatachu: I think an issue here is that OS X has a different battery handling mechanism than Windows. Windows was written to run on any battery, and it does, but OS X likes to use wear-leveling batteries that you find on modern Macs. Since Windows has no wear-leveling support built in, it eats through the battery
