awww :( first of all 8 year old aren’t almost tweens they’re kids!!! I’m imagining my sister at 8 and it breaks my heart because she’s just a little innocent kid who likely doesn’t even understand stereotypes or biases fully yet and then she’s the butt of a joke? makes my heart break a little.

That’s a good point. I’m sure there are ways these people can hide it but I’d hope a show would make certain that their contestants are mentally stable as much as they possibly can.

I deal with mental illness first hand and have people in my circle who do. I’m saying it’s absurd that a psychiatrist would not detect it and that the show isn’t more rigorous about the mental health of their contestants.

How does anyone with depression or bipolar disorder pass their psychiatric test? that’s absurd
