Here’s another (admitedly quickly done) mock up a porsche SUV that is 4" shorter:

Seems like doubling conductors only on uptown-downtown 2 and 5 trains during rush hour would only be a few dozen extra employees. Also, give the employees tazers.

what did they do to earn (medal) that grille? Also, why just six vanes (vains?), it’s bond, why not go to seven to make it just that much more ridiculous? Also, did they at least fit bullet proof glass to make sure the passenger makes it home alive?

As high earners they are “job creators”. If we cut their salary, they wont be able to afford their yacht club dues and think of the dozens of yacht club workers who won’t get hired during their summer between their junior and senior years in high school? You’re killing the local economy by proposing cutting Nigelston

I mountain bike, its an expensive hobby (not racing expensive) but not soccer cheap. I rationalize each purchase with a usage calculation. How much usage will I get out of this and will I enjoy it? For this car its not just racing that will be “usage”. Every part you buy and install yourself, as long as you “enjoy”

When do I really need to be able to go fast in my squished spicy guinea pig of a car? I guess if you really need an extra 4" of ground clearance over the panamera sport turismo, but honestly, why just buy one car then? This car seems like a very teutonic way of experiencing jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none. Need a

What I think Nissan’s U.S. lineup should be:

The auto market is screwed. US automakers have put all their eggs (once again) in the SUV market, but gas prices have nowhere to go but up.

Black with yellow seatbelts and a yellow convertible roof (not offered). Also a Stuttgart flag vinyl wrap on the hood to confuse the Ferrari dicks. Also I would replace the logo with a small VW badge, because if I could buy a $300k 911 that is just marginally better than a 718 gts, I’m going all out. The wheels would

Why not flip the concept over and pretend that cars are trains for a few miles? We already have the technology in some cities with electric buses, just create some sort of roof mounted system over dedicate lanes where cars can go, get charged and then continue on?

I once lived in NYC for a few years with a room mate who refused to take the subway. Based my extensive experience (really not that much), here’s whats going to happen:

Let me get this straight, I can get the peak of American automotive mediocrity paired with the reliability of a late 80’s maserati, all for the same price as a 2015 Certified, “imported from Detroit” Chrysler 200? touring?

I think I’m getting old, because I was nodding in agreement until I thought for even a nanosecond about the price. I can get a certified used Audi allroad, or a bmw wagon (328 or 330) for $7-8000 less. But those are boring I can hear the internet say.

XL hybrids has had a plugin option for the Ford F250 (I think) for a year now, wouldn’t be surprised to see a partnership (or a licensing of technology) from Ford soon.

All the focus has been on one sensor and one faulty system, but from what I have been reading (from the seattle times) is that the faulty mcas and sensor was due to systemic development problems. That make me think that a superficial “fix” for one problem may mask many others that resulted from the development

This story should be a lot bigger. The Div III New England schools all have athletic coaches with a few slots in the admission process (even though they don’t offer athletic scholarships). My swim coach had 3-4 slots every year, I bet the football, squash, sailing, rugby, etc.. coaches all had a few, and yet every

I think you just did mention the universal measure: torques, measured in newton meters. Ignore the newton meters and just call them torques like old top gear. More is better so Americans can understand it, newton meters so the properly educated rest of the world (mostly) can actually figure it out.

This is not new. I attended a private university and noticed that some of the freshman swimmers were dumb as bricks, but either they could swim fast or their parents were friends with the coach. The coach every year could get 3-4 swimmers in, usually 1-2 fast ones and 1-2 less fast swimmers who usually quit before end

I tried this. It was too loud in my small room, but it truly worked. Cooled me down really well. Returned it because it really was too loud and it heated up the rest of the room.
