It looks like an early 20's Frontenac Ford race car. Chevrolet brothers drove modified versions in the Indy 500.

Personally, and all viper owners will shun me for this, I think dodge should give up on the v10. They should offer it as an option always, but I bet a $75k viper with a blown srt8 engine, manual gear box, some cheaper wheels, a few cost cutting measures here and there (interior pulled from Chrysler 300, leather…
So you think maybe they should have a regular guy class, where as soon as he/she enters battle, they soil themselves, then run away or pointlessly die?
If your going to a hot actress in a car commercial, I like this one:
Mine. It runs and starts consistently.
Not really a car, but:
Pre-kinja Jalopnik
yup, want that.
"Skinniest baldest tires" There's your problem chief.
I found the 240 pretty damn good in snow...with winter tires. Want to make it even better, drop in a Dana 30 LSD in and have essentially a underpowered swedish rocket-like thing.
Brutus. So fitting
Toyota has a great diesel engines. Why not spend a little bit, get the 3.0 d4d certified here in the states and put it in the FJ Cruiser?
My advice to Toyota. You just got rid of a unique looking niche off road vehicle with terrible fuel economy and a unique look. I say you replace it with a unique looking niche off road vehicle with decent fuel economy of the 4.5L tubro V8 diesel (21 mpg). Bring the diesel land cruiser 70 to the states. you already…
Looks dumb. Those flares are so big they couldn't finish them. Too many angles, combined with rounded flares. and then the little fins are slapped on at the bottom of the wheels. Plus the front is too busy.
Can we get a scat pack for the shaker hood? We can call it the Dodge Scat Shaker challenge(r).
I kind of like the carbon e-bike. it s a nice mashup of a fat bike and a downhill bike.
I count 4 240's in New England available right now, even 1 wagon. Get the volvo, add IPD sway bar, done.
Clean volvo 240. rEasy to work on, easy to add turbo, cheap to add LSD if you do it yourself.
This is an odd concept, I can think of 21 places within 50 miles where I can eat until I puke. That doesn't really need a car with a huge range. In fact I could do it on my bike, ride to place 1, eat until I feel American, then ride to place two, stopping to puke along the way and eating until I feel like I'm from the…
My old 240 was assembled there. Good car. Wish I still had it.
