Supply meet demand. This isn’t bread or gas, it’s a movie.

A birth certificate and 10 minutes at the Post Office gets you a passport. And then you have a passport. To get a RealID, you need seventeen forms of documentation and hours at the DMV. And then you have a slightly more useful drivers license. Kind of a no brainer to me.
O no they didn’t hire enough people to cover for no shows while they under pay and constantly tell workers they are replaceable. Obviously this is not on the leaders hands at all.
Your sarcasm is duly noted. But guess what...? Labor is why managers have jobs you horse’s ass. We do the work so managers can watch and do the paperwork, make bonuses based on OUR productivity, reap higher wages and better benefits. It’s been my experience that 99 times out of a 100, some cook gets chewed out by…
I mean, either way, management is the far bigger culprit. Either A) they hired such a shitty workforce that they could not manage and probably paid them poorly or B) they had such a small workforce that any small disruption would shut down the entire business
So, like I said. Poorly run business is run poorly.
I’m with you, but if (for example) seven of your ten staff just don’t show up that day you can’t really open on time, no matter how well managed. And if it’s my day off there’s no way in hell I’m answering when the manager calls at the start of the shift.
Better sign:
Got it in one!
Instead of going all out like this, it seems this manager should have sat down with his employees and taco ‘bout their problems.
Yeah, even though I’ve had a fair bit of experience with chain fast food locations being staffed by incompetent, careless yahoos, this is one where I’d sit back and wait to see “the rest of the story” before passing judgement.
What an asshole. The general public and management already treat fast food workers like pariahs of the service industry.
Yeah you don’t get to put this all on the employees.
So they are saying that they have cut staffing levels to the point they cannot cover any absences? I call that poor management. Same as when management claims that time off ill puts the pressure on other employees, it just means they have managed the employee staffing level so poorly they cannot cover illness. In both…
If the Ancient and Benevolent Order of the Lynx were real, I’d show up out front screaming “All circles vanish!” for real.
I too am shocked to learn it’s eliciting this kind of fan behavior and excitement. “Thousands” of Friends fans swinging by the restaurant on a weekly basis? I could imagine a handful of people knowing the exact address and visiting as a lark, but not throngs turning it into a pop culture shrine to the most white-bread…
I’m not saying it’s a bad show, but Friends wasn’t good enough a show to justify this behavior.
Who the fuck has a second ID?
Is the writer of the letter caucasian or not? Today that could make a huge difference in ID screwtiny [misspelling intentional]
Counterpoint: We say “about” correctly. It is you who does not.
