PLEASE let’s not encourage autoplay videos.

Yea, my thought as well. The current title is very meme-able (“Oh silly Saudi Arabia being backward again!”) but I’m more likely to believe it’s just coded language.

My lede was good and your analysis was bad.

The first and last quotes you cited do refer to the casting issue, but the other two are directly engaging with the plot points presented by the movie itself.

I’m a big fan of Ghost in the Shell. Having read this review, I think they did a good job of actually analyzing the plot points of the movie and you’re being too sensitive.

Well if you came into the review with a feeling of “untrustworthiness” and you were never prepared to engage with the other parts of the review in good faith, why bother reading and commenting in the first place?

She never manages to possess that stoic gravitas of her animated counterparts pull off effortlessly, she never comes off as being in control or driven, like the anime Major managed to do with the most minimal expression.

Eh, I think it’s relative. In the 1950s, sure, this is porn. But in 2017? If you want to make “porn” just upload your sex tape on your favorite website. You wouldn’t go to the trouble of artfully posing couples with tasteful lighting and then blurring the bits. The message is clearly more “artistic statement” than

Alec is so New York it hurts. Like, his heart is fundamentally in the right place and we share the same core beliefs, but he’s abrasive and arrogant and tends to put his foot in his mouth. Now that I think about it, he reminds me of my dad.

If you really think that then you have no idea how the British upper crust works. It’s all about what is proper and expected: “grandma” or “grandmother.” Or maybe Pippa, Nana or Momsy to be ‘pastoral.’

Not to defend pbumpkin, but “you can’t spell xaybzc without abc” traditionally allows for you to pick up the letters from anywhere in the original word. Of course, it’s punchier when the second word is sitting right there inside the first word, but yea.

I can’t get over how derpy rules 4 and 11 are. This honestly sounds like it was written by a bullied 14 year old.

He doesn’t deserve extreme hate because he’s so milquetoast in general.

Probably the most talented kid to come from Dance Moms is Maddie Ziegler (aka the girl in all the Sia videos), but she has had years of actual dance training at professional studios. Basically, the main advantage of that show for talent like her isn’t learning to dance, it’s publicity.

Cargo shorts meet the dress code, according to the pretty specific list on the ticket (another post has it below).

Where did I say children in leggings are a problem? Are you aware of what a dress code is?

Was that loser a pass rider? Because that’s really what the issue is here.

Unless I see evidence that they were allowing male pass riders to board in flip flops and board shorts, I’m going to go with “overblown and misconstrued.”

You’re totally right, but I think the irony is that this is an argument for more self-driving cars on the road, not less. There is less unpredictability if all the cars on the road are programmed and following the rules nearly perfectly.

The first one isn’t shade, it’s just a clapback. The second sounds pretty shady/innocent though. Edit: I see you’ve been answered the same way already lol, never mind!
