No driver should be held accountable in a situation like that. There are some very dark bridges in the part of town I work in. Like dark as in your eyes don’t adjust quickly going from light to dark. There are also no sidewalks under said bridges. People insist on walking under those wearing dark clothing quite

Solar panel faux wood. Wagoneer here we come.

You mean we would assume the buyer would be that cynical in purchasing now and realizing they should have waited for the new model.

Current buying trends/auto loan debt would say otherwise. Need is less now than want.

Already leaking refresh photos? Why even buy the current “old” global model when it hits the us? Wait another year for the freshy fresh model.

I’ve always thought the easy/best way to do a higher speed limit would be to have a much more rigorous test/certification program. People who want to enter into the program have to have a vehicle deemed capable of handling and braking at greater speeds (so you don’t have people in SUVs or trucks blasting down the

I wish.....

Also, we don’t see auto MFGs changing a turn signal stalk to some button interface on the steering wheel or the dash. Know why? because it’s standardized and easy for your hand to hit no matter what you do. I don’t subscribe to the “change it just to change it” or “change it to be different” type of thinking.

I am not sure what is so bad about a standard style shifter that actuates the transmission electronically. Time tested interfaces are column and console shift. Just stick with that and hide the electronics below. The new gas 2500/3500 Rams now have the rotary shifter. 8 speed is more than welcome on the HD gas trucks

1st gear: Maybe lets focus on really good electric cars. I feel autonomy is less of a concern to the current consumer than an electric that fuels up quickly and has a 400 mile range.

I am a Dodge guy but I was looking for a more reliable truck for this last purchase so I tried out the Silverado (thanks JD Power). I picked up a one owner 4x4 rust free hemi Dodge 1500 with 58,000 miles. Sort of my middle finger to new trucks and the cost. Will be paid for quickly and I coupled that with an older DD

Shaking on the highway that wasn’t fixable. Battery died at 20,000 miles. Steering boot didn’t seal correctly letting loud DI noise into the cab. Countless interior rattles. The HVAC system constantly knocked while regulating temperature and the dealer had no fix for it. Tailgate soft lowering mechanism constantly

My 16 Silverado bought nearly new low mileage in beautiful condition was a pile of hot garbage. Tons of small issues and design flaws that made it terrible day to day and long trips.

Nautique Boats used to let dealers take care of their own freight (I.E. closer dealers paid less further paid more so it made the closer dealers sell cheaper). They decided to take care of fright then cost average it between all dealers so nobody was at an advantage or disadvantage. I would be curious to see if auto

I have a few private pilot friends. While it seems very expensive to do it actually breaks down cost per seat similar to what a commercial flight is. These are operating costs not including the initial plane purchase. So, if you actually fill the plane it isn’t a big difference than getting say a first class

They nearly pay you to lease those. My brother’s wife’s mother has one and it’s something like 120 bucks a month for a new car. I hate them with all me heart but if I needed an AWD crossover kid hauler and didn’t care about looks well then.

Would much rather go to a dated dealership that had a great service and sales department/better deals. If my car needs dropped for service I GTFO of there as quick as I can.

I don’t hate it. It actually looks like they took some time to make it shapely.

I didn’t discount ABS. I don’t really prefer one or the other (it does have rear wheel ABS which is very helpful in a light rear end vehicle). I do however hate stability control/traction control. I have driven a multitude of different vehicles in different conditions in my life (family owned a dealership for 50

I just got rid of a newer truck that had stability control/gps tracking. The current truck is an 08 and doesn’t even have 4 wheel abs. The 98 T-5 S70 does have 4 wheel abs and traction control. That is as close as I will get to anything with driver assistance for the foreseeable future. I am very happy with my move
