I got 1.9% on a 2 year old truck in 2012. I currently have 4.0 % on a small note which will be paid off in a year and a half and presumable my last auto note for life, hopefully, maybe.

Short term stock gains. I said it.
It cracks me up folks argue about GMC and Chevy being separate sales numbers. Seriously think GMC guys would all go to other mfg. if they were no longer available when the Silverado is basically the identical truck other than some body aesthetics and badges? Yea..... no.
If I street parked in a large city I would just buy a regular cab SB truck and install the most god awful steel off road bumpers front and rear. Would look so Bro Dozer but no damage when they play the old rubbin and parkin game.
No way that is “Correct”. Maybe Chevy thought “eh good enough” (Read the safety reviews of that truck’s headlights). The projectors were awful. There is no way someone designed them to drop off that badly on the left side of the beam only. I have driven plenty of projector beam vehicles and while they all had some sort…
Crack pipe. Scramblers are one of my favorite Jeeps ever. Unfortunately, they are the highest of the 70s-80s CJ rigs. You can still find reasonably priced local CJ5/7 Jeeps but as soon as it goes to CJ8 no matter the condition there is a massive price jump.
That’s exactly how my 2016 Silverado system worked. If you got super lucky and the planets aligned you could sometimes get it to blow interior temp air out of the vents and just maintain a comfortable temp inside. Otherwise, either 1000 degrees or -1000 degrees. AC operation was slightly better but not great.
My previous 2016 Silverado had awful headlights. The low beams went sort of far but they were extremely lacking on the LH side of the road. The way the lights project it makes a pattern on the wall like __o—-__o---. The lower side of the bean located to the left cut off a ton of length on the LH side of the road. The…
DT, just wire up an external regulator. Super common on the mid 2000s Dodge diesel trucks with the regulator inside the PCM as well. It quits but everything else works just fine so why replace the PCM when an external regulator is probably more reliable in the long haul anyways. Just make sure you pick a super common…
Ha oops. Slippy typing fingers. The cab was very “Quiet” as in insulated from external noises. Sadly, everything else inside made much more noise than any other vehicle I have owned.
Chevy’s chrome wheel designs have always been way over the top gaudy (see 14-18 LTZ half ton). They aren’t too bad at aluminum though.
The interior on my 16 Silverado was SO FUCKING QUITE, but unfortunately everything the put inside the truck was SO FUCKING LOUD AND RATTLY.
Man that dark ruby red is sexy.
I just ditched my 16 Silverado for a cherry one owner 58,000 08 Ram 1500. Chrysler guy my whole life but I got fed up with the amount of repairs on my last Ram. No thanks Ford so I gave a Chevy a try based on reliability reports and friends who owned them. It was unbelievable the amount of stupid Nannies and messages…
Hell no, you can buy very nice examples of Lil Red Express Trucks for the 15,000 range that look proper and original. Warlocks seem slightly more rare these days but no way is this justified in pricing. Sign me up for a properly restored big block 4x4 Warlock though.
GTS coupes are one of the best looking cars to ever be produced. I lust after a Viper something fierce and have ridden in no less than 8 (sadly never driven one). One local guy from my home town has a silver striped over granite grey 02 GTS with the dished/polished factory 5 spoke wheels. I nearly lose it any time…
As cliche as it is, I want to get my 67 Plymouth put back together with some modern features like overdrive and good A/C and ship it from Indiana to the west coast. Take a 2 week vacation to drive the PCH and take in some west coast car culture then road trip home and hit places like the grand canyon etc. A lot of…
We just toured the Piquette plant this late summer. Some irreplaceable priceless vehicles there. What a place to see.
Odd, I survived a 3800 LB, no sway bars, manual 10" drum brake, lap belt only, 400 HP muscle car and before you ask I am only 31. I beat the absolute shit out of that car basically from age 15-26 or so. Me thinks it’s more about the brains piloting the car than the car itself.
